Saif Ali Khan expressed gratitude to the auto-driver, Bhajan Singh, who helped him get to the hospital after an intruder attacked him at his own home.
Saif Ali Khan suffered a lot of injuries in a fight with an intruder who had reportedly barged into his home. While the motive of the intruder is not yet revealed, reports claim that he might have come to kidnap Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's youngest son, Jehangir Ali Khan, to ask for ransom in return. The spine-chilling episode raises the question of human consciousness, but an auto-driver's selfless commitment to rush Saif Ali Khan safely to the hospital reinstills our belief in humanity.
Saif Ali Khan had multiple surgeries, and he was in the hospital for five days before he got discharged on January 21, 2025. However, before leaving for home, Saif made sure to thank the person who saved him on the night of the attack. He called the auto-driver to the hospital and thanked him.
In the photos that have surfaced on the internet, Saif was dressed up in a white-hued crips shirt with a pair of jeans. He looked all hearty and showed immense strength despite multiple surgeries. On the other hand, the auto-driver, Bhajan Singh Rana, looked happy as he stood next to the star. Bhajan Singh Rana revealed that he wanted to take a selfie with Saif Ali Khan after he found out that he was the famous actor on the night of the attack.
The auto-driver, Bhajan Singh Rana spoke to the ANI about the details of the gruesome night when he met injured Saif and rushed him to the hospital. He revealed that he was driving his vehicle and at around 2-3 a.m., he saw a woman trying to get an auto and she was yelling to stop the vehicle . He took a U-Turn and stopped the vehicle near the gate, when a man covered in blood came out.
Bhajan Singh revealed that the injured man sat near the window and asked him to drop him at Lilavati Hospital. The auto-driver also revealed that a child also accompanied him. It proves that it wasn't Ibrahim Ali Khan (Saif Ali Khan's elder son from his ex-wife, Amrita Singh), who accompanied him to the hospital, but his seven-year-old son, Taimur Ali Khan.
The 47-year-old auto-driver revealed the state of Saif Ali Khan and how his white kurta had turned completely red with the blood stain. He had an injury on the neck.
"Blood nikal raha tha gardan se nikal raha tha, peeche laga tha, yaani safed kurta pora laal hogya tha."
Further, the reporter asked if Saif's son was scared seeing the whole incident or if he was normal. To this, the auto-driver claimed that the child was absolutely normal and they were even conversing. He wasn't scared at all.
