Saif Ali Khan shares his daily routine and how he spends time with wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan and son, Taimur during these COVID-19 lockdown days.
The COVID-19 lockdown days have at one hand irritated people, but on the other hand, have come good for families as for a lot of people it has turned into family time. These days have united family members that were earlier finding it hard to match their pace of life. B-town stars, who are always on the go are making the most of it, as they finally get to spend time with their family under one roof. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who had finally made her Instagram debut in 2020, after making her fans wait for her for the longest has been gracing our Instagram feeds with her gorgeous pictures. The actress has been here and there giving a sneak peek from her life and her quarantine days, making her fans glued to her Instagram handle. While begum Kareena gives a sneak peek of their life, nawab, Saif Ali Khan stays away from social media, keeping his personal life, private. Recently, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Saif talked about his quarantine routine and daily workout, not leaving his fans aloof about the fun he has with his wifey and kid, Taimur during these days.
In an interview with the Mumbai Mirror, Saif Ali Khan was asked about his daily routine and time table. Sharing about how his day starts, and how chasing Taimur is also a workout, the actor said, “I wake up early and get some exercise in. Fortunately, we have a treadmill at home and I’m coaxing Kareena to give me some yoga lessons. Chasing my kid (Taimur) around the house is also a good workout.”
When Saif was asked about the lockdown, the actor told about how it feels being on a 19th-century ship. He said, “It’s like a long voyage on a 19th-century ship. You can see the land from afar, but you are separated from it by an expanse of water.” He also talked about how the 21st century technologies are helping people to stay connected. Remembering his grandmother, he also talked about how he is passing on his grandmother’s lineage to his child, Taimur. He added, “I remember my grandmother pruning and grafting roses. Now, I’m the one explaining the concept of growing plants to Taimur, teaching him how to press the seeds into the mud in the pots and pour water, and then wait for the seedlings to peep out with surprised delight. Today, we planted tomatoes; it’s all very nice and peaceful. With both parents around all the time, my son is having a blast.”
Post the 21-day announcement of lockdown, Kareena Kapoor Khan had posted a glimpse of the quarantine at her home. Sharing a picture of her baby boy, Taimur Ali Khan chasing his abba, Saif Ali Khan as they both had twinned in bathrobes. Bebo had captioned the picture as “Dear India, let's do this. Be responsible. Be home. Be safe. #21DayLockdown #InThisTogether @narendramodi @adityathackeray @cmomaharashtra_ @my_bmc.”
On The Love Laugh Live Show, Saif Ali Khan’s dearest wifey, Kareena Kapoor Khan had revealed what a normal evening with hubby, Saif and their little munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan, looks like. Bebo had remarked, "I think both of us, we are very social, but we don't like to go to film parties. He doesn't want to go and watch any trial shows because he is like I can't lie, so obviously he won't go. Not too many friends in the film-film circle, even though it's quite strange because both of us are inherently film-film." Bebo had continued, "So, an average evening is always like he is reading, lots of candles are lit. Our dinner's always early, we like to eat in early so like by 7:30 or 8. In fact 3 times a week, he will be like let's cook, let's have a bottle of wine and chat and that's our kind of catchup with Taimur running around. We are playing with him and sitting."
