He explained his wish that school star kids should be given a chance so that they could just blend in with other kids in general. However, he also understands the media culture in the industry and said:
“Taimur is of interest for whose son he is, he is quite aware of that. They are just kids. I wish they could just blend in with the other kids. But that’s the way it. He has not created the interest in him on his own. We are quite aware of that as well.”
Further, in the same conversation, Saif mentioned that he and his wife, Kareena have collectively taught Taimur how to handle all this responsibly. Saif also shared that for this reason, Kareena plans and schedules their vacations and get aways much away from the media attention. In this way, it balances the lack of privacy from their lives. Saif added:
“He is aware that he carries some responsibility. We’ve taught him how to behave in public because he is not an infant anymore. And he is a well-behaved kid. It is because of what we do that we can afford to travel and create our private spaces. So it all balances out.”

Earlier, Saif and Kareena were mercilessly trolled for naming their kids, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan, after the invaders. However, in an interview with The Times Of India, Saif had reacted to the trolls and said that commenting on negative news is not worth his time. In his words:
“The world is not an equal place; people are not equally happy. We're very privileged people, and I think we're good people. We pay our taxes, we're legal people, and we work hard to entertain and we do well, and we contribute a fair amount of positivity to this world. And to comment on people who are contributing negativity and dividing and being terrible is really not worth it. I try and stay off reading that and focussing on something else.”
