For 'papa bears' their daughters are a precious treasure. They at times get extremely possessive for their little angels as they want to protect them from the big world. And an exactly similar bond is shared between Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan and his daughter, Sara Ali Khan. We had already witnessed their incredible bond on the koffee couch (Koffee With Karan Season 6), and Saif's camaraderie with his first child. (Recommend Read: Esha Deol Twins With Mamma, Hema Malini In Hues Of Green On Her 71st Birthday, Pens A Heartfelt Wish)

Sara, who is brought up by her mother, Amrita Singh (Saif's first wife), has always dreamt of being an actor. She was bitten by the acting bug at a mere age of four and all she could think of was making her dream come true. Last year in 2018, Sara made a grand entry into the filmy duniya with her amazing acting skills portrayed in Kedarnath.

Recently, in an interview, Saif shared one advice he gave Sara for her filmy career. He said, "I always tell her to focus on the acting and not being a star, and to always be herself." He further shared his thoughts on stardom and stated, "Everything is driven by the fact that we are all going to die one day. That's why art is great as it captures moments, thoughts and stories -- which is kind of us freezing time and defying the oblivion of time, of death. You feel like let me create something that will maybe last forever."

Sara shares a strong bond with her father, Saif and it is clearly visible in her interviews. In one of the interactions with the Vogue magazine, Sara had talked about her father and had said, "He’s a lot like me—we’re both readers, we both like history, we’re both travellers. He is 25 years older than me, which isn’t a lot. I am right in between the age gap of Taimur (Saif and Kareena’s son) and my father." (Also Read: Deepika Padukone Has Already Decided How To Raise Her Child With Ranveer Singh And It's Adorable)

After Sara's debut in Kedarnath, Saif had talked about her daughter's performance in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. He had shared, "I thought she was really good in Kedarnath and making interesting choices within the scene. The thing I like the most about Sara, not as my daughter but as a personality, is her strong sense of humility and being down to earth that comes across that makes me support her and, I think, everyone feels that way.”

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Saif had shared that he was proud of Sara's achievements at such a young age. He had stated, "I’m so happy for her. This was her choice all the way. She chose this and made it happen. And I thought she was brilliant. A thinking actress who is expressive and inventive in every shot. I see a fantastic future for her. She is used to being good at what she loves, but I thank the people for welcoming her and giving her the acceptance that an actor needs."

However, Saif was a bit nervous about his daughter, Sara joining the world of glam and glitz. He had once said, "I am a little nervous. Fear is the most driving factor in the industry. I am not looking down on acting, it's just it is not the most stable profession. And everyone lives in constant fear. And there is no guarantee that despite doing your best, you will succeed. This is not the life, any parent would want for their children."

Later, Sara had also shared in an interview with the Mid-Day that her 'daddy dearest' doesn't like discussing films with his daughter, and the reason for it, is just perfect. She had shared, "He looks at me like I'm a traitor for discussing films. He lives with Kareena [Kapoor], is a brother to Soha, and is an actor's son. So, now, if I discuss work, he's like, 'Please don't do this to me.' So, we don't talk about films often. We talk about history, argue about what Hitler's motivations were, or who was wrong in the Cold War. Sometimes, we discuss religion and how different beliefs and social systems came about. We both enjoy culture, travelling, good food, and great conversations." (Don't Miss: Shweta Tiwari Shares Adorable Pictures Of Her Kids, Palak Tiwari And Reyansh Kohli)
