Saif Ali Khan previously faced a health-related emergency back in 2007 when he was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai, in critical condition.
Saif Ali Khan has established himself as one of the most successful and well-known actors in the Hindi film industry during his career spanning more than two decades. So, the news about a knife attack on the actor and a burglary attempt at his residence sent shock waves across the country. Fans have been praying for his speedy recovery, and amid this, the news about his near-death experience back in 2007 has been going viral.
Saif Ali Khan comes from a filmy background, but that has not stopped the actor from consistently working hard in his career. Back in 2007, he came across a life-threatening situation the actor experienced severe chest pain. The incident took place when Khan was going for a performance rehearsal for the then-upcoming Stardust Awards. Soon, the actor was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital in critical condition. Incidentally, it's the same Hospital where he is presently admitted.
Back then, when he was brought in, the Dil Chahta Hai actor was placed under intensive care, where an electrocardiogram (ECG) was performed. The reports revealed he had an irregular heartbeat, and under the supervision of cardiologist, Dr. Vivek Mehan, Saif underwent an angiography that showcased no permanent damage to his heart, and he soon got well. After remaining under observation for a few days, he recovered and returned home.
Saif Ali Khan's sister, Soha Ali Khan, had then shared more details about his health. She mentioned that he had returned from South Africa after completing a busy schedule. Even after his arrival in Mumbai, he immediately worked on rehearsing his performance at the award show. Consequently, the busy schedule and lack of adequate rest impacted Saif'shealth. Khan was scheduled to perform at the event and was later felicitated with an award for his negative performance in Omkara.
Saif Ali Khan has been running on a busy work schedule and was last seen in the pan-India film, Devara: Part One alongside Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor. He has a busy lineup of projects, including the money heist film, Jewel Thief- The Red Sun Chapter, co-starring Jaideep Ahlawat and Nikita Dutta. He also has the action entertainer film, Race 4 and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit with South Indian superstar, Prabhas in the pipeline.
