Saif Ali Khan's sister, Saba Pataudi, finally reacted to the insane stabbing incident that happened at the wee hours of January 16, 2025.
The recent incident that happened at Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's home in the wee hours of January 16, 2025, has left the entire nation in shock. A burglar barged into their home with the intention of robbery. But he was caught by their son's nanny, who shouted for help. After this, Saif fought with all his might to save his family. However, the intruder left the actor severely injured by stabbing him six times.
Saif played the role of a real-life hero to save his wife, Kareena and their sons, Taimur and Jeh. The way the robber stabbed Saif proves that he could have caused serious harm to the rest of the family, but Saif's bravery saved the night. However, in the process, he got hurt and is recovering in Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai. Now, his sister, Saba Pataudi, shared a message with him.
Taking to her Instagram story, Saba shared a throwback picture with her brother. Atop it, she expressed how their father, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, would be so proud of him as he took care of his family and showed immense strength in the testing times. Saba wrote:
"I am in shock and reeling from this insane incident. But proud of you Bhaijaan. Taking care of the family and standing tall would make abba so proud. I am. get well soon. Missing being there. Will see you soon. Duas N prayers always. I love you."
When the incident happened, Kareena also put on a brave face. A short video of her made rounds from the same night, as she was seen with the nanny and was in her pyjamas. penned an official statement on the recent incidents. She called it an incredibly challenging day for her family, who are still trying to process the whole event. She even requested the media and paparazzi to refrain from making speculations. She wrote:
"It has been an incredibly challenging time for our family, and we are still trying to process the events that have unfolded. As we navigate this difficult time. I respectfully and humbly request that the media and paparazzi refrain from the relentless speculations and coverage."
Kareena added that she appreciates the concern and support, but the constant scrutiny and attention further pose a risk to their family. She even asked the media to respect their boundary and the space to heal as a family. She concluded the note by writing:
"While we appreciate the concern and support, the constant scrutiny and attention are not only overwhelming but also pose a significant risk to our safety. I kindly request that you respect our boundaries and give us the space we need to heal and cope as a family. I would like to thank you in advance for your understanding during this sensitive time. Kareena Kapoor Khan."
