The same stands true in the case of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli as the ex-cricket captains’ wives have been their constant pillar of strength.
But do you know that Anushka Sharma and Sakshi Dhoni’s bond started way before they tied the knot with the cricketers as they were classmates? Yes! You read that right, not many people know this, but the Bollywood actress and Sakshi went to the same school in Assam.

Anushka Sharma belonged to an Army background, because of which she has studied in various parts of the country. While Anushka’s father, Ajay Kumar Sharma was posted in Assam, the actress went to St. Mary’s School, Margherita, in which Sakshi studied too. Sometime back, an array of throwback pictures of the two went viral on social media. In one of the pictures, Anushka and Sakshi were seen posing along with Anushka’s brother, Karnesh and one of their common friends.
In another picture, the star wives were seen partying in their early days along with their common friends. Another picture, which caught our attention was of Anushka and Sakshi posing for a group class photograph during the first standard.

In 2013, during the launch event, Anusha Sharma spoke about her bond with Sakshi and said:
“I'm friends with Dhoni's wife Sakshi and I love the way he treats her and protects her. They look so cute together and I adore that MSD knows how to treat his woman.”
In the same interview, the NH10 actress shared details of them being classmates and revealed:
“Sakshi and I lived together in a very small town in Assam. When she told me where she lived, I said wow, I have lived here too! She said I went to this school, I said I went to this school too. And then I found a picture in which Sakshi is dressed as a fairy and I’m dressed in a ghaghara like my favourite idol Madhuri. Sakshi is extremely funny.”
On the personal front, while Anushka Sharma got married to Virat Kohli in 2017, Sakshi tied the knot with MS Dhoni in 2010.
