However, when the government was struggling to provide water tankers to the villagers at that time, it was Salman Khan who had come forward and sent 2500 tankers to the village. Every single tanker has the capacity to hold 2000 litres of water. This wonderful gesture from 'Bhaijaan' didn’t receive any coverage in the media, but Salman Khan was more than happy to help the villagers, who were fighting for life.
Over the years, we have seen Salman Khan showering immense love and care on children. The Bollywood superstar loves kids, and even in one of his interviews, he admitted that he would love to have kids but not a wife. However, Salman proved his love for children when he sponsored the free treatment of kids, who were suffering from rare facial disorders. Salman Khan’s charitable organisation, Being Human, needs no introduction, as it has been changing lives for some years now. From helping poor people to paying hefty medical bills of patients facing financial crunch, Being Human is one of the few organisations in India working tirelessly for society's betterment. For instance, Salman Khan’s Being Human once paid Rs. 40 lakhs to the court to free 400 jail dwellers.
