Salman Khan looked heartbroken as he visited Malaika Arora's' parents' home soon after he retuned to Mumbai from an outdoor shoot.
Malaika Arora's father, Anil Mehta, passed away on September 11, 2024, after falling from his sixth-floor balcony of their Bandra residence in Mumbai. The autopsy reports revealed s that Anil died due to several injuries, fractured bones and head injuries caused after falling from the sixth floor, and no foul play was involved in his death. However, Salman Khan could not visit Malaika's home earlier due to professional commitments, but as soon as he landed back in Mumbai, he rushed to her parent's residence.
On September 12, 2024, Salman Khan returned to Mumbai after finishing his shooting schedule for the film, Sikander with Rashmika Mandanna. As soon as he landed back in the town, he rushed to his ex-bhabhi, Malaika Arora's parents' residence, to be beside them. Salman Khan looked devastated and teary-eyed as he walled into Malaika's home to pay his last respects to the deceased.
Malaika Arora was in Pune when her father jumped from the sixth floor of his apartment in Bandra. However, her former husband, Arbaaz Khan, was the first one to arrive at Anil Mehta’s residence. He was spotted interacting with the police, who were busy investigating the case. Not just Arbaaz, but his father, Salim Khan, mother, Salma Khan, and brother, Sohail Khan, also arrived to pay respect.
Malaika Arora's stepfather, Anil Mehta's body, was immediately sent to the hospital for postmortem. Now, a day after his death, the reports are out, and it says that Anil Mehta passed away due to suffering from multiple bone fractures and internal injuries. The impact of the falling from a height resulted in his death, and talking about foul play, the report revealed that Anil Mehta passed away due to suicide and no other reason. The autopsy report also revealed that Anil suffered from sever head injuries.
In a video doing rounds on the internet, Malaika Arora was seen exiting the crematorium after her father's funeral. She was dressed in a simple white suit and tied her hair in a bun. Malaika looked devastated after performing the last rites of her dad, and Arjun Kapoor consoled her. He was walking behind her and talking to her as they left for home. Arjun even shielded Malaika from the paps and was seen taking care of her.
