Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are making headlines as they are all set to tie the knot. The much-anticipated wedding will soon occur on June 23, 2024 and the updates about their big day have filled our social media feeds. Sonakshi Sinha, who debuted with Salman Khan starrer Dabangg, has carved a successful career for herself in Bollywood. Recently, an old viral post has made news as it indicated that Sonakshi's soon-to-be father-in-law, Iqbal Ratansi, shares financial ties with Salman Khan.
The Tiger 3 actor has always expressed his gratitude to those who have helped him, like Zaheer Iqbal's father, Iqbal Ratansi. In an old post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Salman shared how he owns a sum of Rs. 2011 to Iqbal Ratansi. At the same time, he mentioned that the businessman was like a personal bank to the actor. Sharing a picture, he penned:
"N this is my childhood frnd Iqbal, as a teen he was my bank, I still owe him Rs. 2011. thnk God he did not take interest (laughing emoji) bete ko launch Kar raha hoon toh baap ka post toh karsakta hoon na. Lv the pic."

Iqbal Ratansi works in the construction and jewellery business. He has three children, and his daughter, Sanam Ratansi, is a Bollywood celebrity stylist. At the same time, Salman Khan produced Zaheer's debut film, Notebook. Zaheer also worked as an assistant director at Salman's Jai Ho, that highlights their connection.
Coming from a business family, Zaheer initially used to work in the same field. Since, Salman Khan was the childhood friend of Iqbal Ratansi, he went to the wedding of Zaheer's sister, where Zaheer performed as the bride's brother. In a conversation with Curly Tales, Zaheer revealed that the Ready actor was so impressed by his performance that he asked him to leave the business and act. He further revealed that Salman Khan later called him and offered help to become an actor, beginning his career in Bollywood.

Heeramandi star, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will get married at Shilpa Shetty's restaurant, Bastian - At The Top. As per new reports, the place will be decorated in ivory and white for the big day. Sonakshi recently met Zaheer's family, and an audio invite from Sonakshi and Zaheer went viral confirming their wedding. Moreover, Sonakshi's father, veteran actor and politician, Shatrughan Sinha, has confirmed that he will be a part of his daughter's wedding.
