Salman Khan has begun shoot for the highly anticipated show, 'Bigg Boss 18'. On the set, he shared with the media that he has sustained two broken ribs as news of his injury surfaced a few days ago.
Salman Khan is one of the most admired stars in the country, with a massive fan following who looks forward to every new update of the actor. He is known for his professional work ethic, charm and style. Apart from his films, the actor is one of the most loved hosts on Indian television. Returning to the medium, the actor is all set to host Bigg Boss 18 and began its promo shoot on September 5, 2024. Recently, the actor was spotted by the media where he provided them with updates on his recent rib injury.
Recently, Salman Khan was spotted looking dapper at the Bigg Boss 18 promo shoot. He kept the look classic in a classic black suit, dark-blue-toned shirt, and neatly styled hair. The actor was surrounded by media on the set, who were excited to get some snaps of the actor. However, he was seen frequently touching his ribs. For the unversed, a few days ago, media reports suggested Salman suffered a rib injury and yet continued the shoot for his upcoming film.
When bhaijaan looked uncomfortable around the media and touched his rib, the paps stepped back from him. Apart from giving him some space, they even expressed their gratitude as he allowed them to enter and get his pictures. During the interaction, Salman went on to explain he sustained two broken ribs. In one of the video clips shared by his fans online, the actor shared the extent of his injury, saying:
"2 pasliyan tooti hai.”
Salman Khan attended the Bacche Bole Morya event in Mumbai a few days ago. Many other prominent personalities attended the event including administrative officials. The Dabangg actor kept his look simple with a grey T-shirt and blue jeans. However, while sitting or standing at the event, he frequently winced in pain and even touched his ribs. As soon as the video went viral, fans expressed their concerns for the actor. But there was no update on the extent of his injury. Despite the pain, he has been making appearances, shooting high-action scenes for his upcoming film and began work on Bigg Boss 18.
On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in the mega-budget film, Tiger 3, co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. He will next be seen hosting Bigg Boss 18 and has begun its promo shoot. At the same time, the actor is working on his next film, Sikandar. A.R. Murugadoss will direct it. The film is all set to release on Eid 2025.
