On February 8, 2022, Salman Khan took to his Instagram handle and shared a heart-melting selfie with his mother, Salma Khan. Salman can be seen lying in his mom's lap and posing for the camera with a cute smile in the adorable selfie. However, it was his mother, Salma Khan's super-happy face, that melted everyone's hearts. The doting mother looked gorgeous-as-ever in a white and blue kurta, while her son can be seen donning a green-coloured T-shirt. Along with the priceless picture, Salman penned a beautiful caption and it can be read as:
"Maa ki godh …. Jannat."
Many years ago, during his visit on Farah Khan's chat show, Tere Mere Beach Mein, Salman Khan had talked about the bond he shares with his mother, Salma Khan. Recalling his childhood days, the doting son had shared some beautiful memories of him with his mother that were very close to his heart. He had revealed:
"As a child I remember, when mom used to go out, I used to hold on to her pallu and run behind her crying. I had another habit, mom used to feed me yellow daal and chawal. I stopped eating that the day that she stopped feeding me that with her own hands."

Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan values his family above all and knows the importance of sticking together. In an interview with The Times of India, Salman had talked about the love of his life, his mother and had opened up about how he gets most of the energy from his mom, Salma Khan. The actor had also praised his mother for always bringing everyone together in their family. He had said:
"My mother. It's a different kind of love for both my parents. I get my energy and strength from my father. My mother, because she dotes on all of us and the amount she cares, protects and is all the time tensed for us. That makes us feel a lot more for her health. She is so lovely and that is not only with us but also our friends, the wives and with whoever there was in my life. With everyone she is just the same. She is a simple Maharashtrian lady. She is funny, noble and very correct."
