Salman Khan took a dig at 'Bigg Boss 18' contestant, Karan Veer Mehra and stated that he is incapable of maintaining any relationship.
Karan Veer Mehra grabbed the limelight post winning the show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 14. Soon after that, he graced Salman Khan's show, Bigg Boss 18, and has been in talks for several reasons, be it his fights with the housemates, his equation with them, and as well as with his personal life. Karan Veer was married twice, and neither of his marriages was successful. And now, it seems Salman Khan ended up taking a dig at his failed marriages.
In a recent promo video, Salman Khan was seen giving Karan Veer Mehra a reality check. The actor stated that Karan Veer had been unable to maintain his relationships outside, and on Bigg Boss 18, he is also unsuccessful in the same. Salman further mentioned that Karan can't do anything, and asked him to do things openly, which he had done on the sly. In Salman Khan's words:
"Karan bahar aap parivaar jod nahi paaye, aur yahan bhi parivaar jod nahi parahe ho. Aap koi bhi cheeze complete nahi kar paate ho. Yeh jo kone kone mein kar rahe ho, yeh khulle mein karo."

Karan Veer Mehra got married to Devika Mehra back in 2009. However, their marital life hit a rough patch, and they parted ways after eight years of marital bliss. Karan gave love another chance and tied the knot with Nidhi Seth in 2021. That marriage also remained unsuccessful and the ex-couple called it quits after two years in 2023. Talking about the reason for their split, Nidhi said that 'toxicity' was behind her decision to part ways with Karan Veer Mehra.
In an old interview with the Bombay Times, Karan Veer Mehra talked about his split from his childhood sweetheart, Devika. He stated that a companion that had 18 years of togetherness in total couldn't withstand the blitz of the glamour world. He added that when he was growing in his career, Devika also decided to be a part of it, and eventually, they drifted apart.
The actor shared that he had slipped down the list of Devika's priorities, and he got linked with actresses, actors, and producers, and started getting more work, which was the beginning of the end of his relationship with Devika. Karan Veer further added that another turning point in his relationship could be his reckless decision to marry Devika without a second thought and in a day, to which she also agreed, even though, they had fought the previous night. In Karan Veer's words:
"The flip side of this early success was that I became reckless — reckless enough to take a serious step like marriage without any thought. I decided on marriage within a day and she also agreed, though we had fought just the previous evening.''
In an interview with ETimes, Karan Veer Mehra's ex-wife, Nidhi tagged her past marriage as the biggest mistake of her life. She stated that daily fights are intolerable in a marriage and toxicity is not acceptable either. Nidhi stated how certain personality traits and behaviour can ruin a relationship and mental peace, respect for each other, honesty are extremely important to be with one another.
