It was early in the morning of April 14, 2024, when two men approached Salman Khan's residence on a motorbike, and fired four rounds outside the Galaxy Apartments. Following this, Mumbai Crime Branch officials disclosed that gangster, Lawrence Bishnoi and his brother, Anmol Bishnoi have made certain statements in the same matter. Anmol had even declared that he was responsible for the firing outside Salman's house. Later, Kutch Police arrested the two accused persons, identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) from Bihar, and handed them to the Mumbai Crime Branch.
Several reports claimed that Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, called the entire firing incident outside his house a 'publicity stunt', but Salman is unbothered by the same. However, contradicting them, on April 15, 2024, Arbaaz Khan released a statement on his official IG handle. No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media. At this time the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support."

Coming to Aayush's work front, he made his acting debut with the film, Loveyatri. He was last seen alongside Salman Khan in Antim: The Final Truth. If reports are to be believed, he will be next seen in Karan L Butani's directorial, Ruslaan. Thus, people made an assumption that the Khans deeply influence Aayush. So, in an interview with News18, the actor revealed his gratitude towards Salman that, he not only groomed him but also gave him such a big opportunity to work with him. Aayush also admitted that Salman treats him as a student and not as his brother-in-law. But further elaborating that people think the Khan family makes all his career decisions and controls him, which isn't the case, he stated:
"When he supports something, it comes out from his own heart. When the trailer launched, I didn't know that he was posting it and when I saw the caption, it was so heartwarming. When a person who grooms and teaches you, when he says something nice about you. Har Arjun apne Dronacharya se compliment he lena chahta hai. It doesn't come from a space of you are my brother-in-law, it comes from a space of you are my student. That appreciation is very close to my heart. That I don't have brains of my own and that everything is decided by the Khan family and that is not the truth. They love me."
