After Naga Chaitanya took his pet dog, Hash for an outing, reports were rife that all is well between him and his ex-wife, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but the sources think otherwise.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya's reconciliation reports have been making rounds on the internet since the start of October 2023. The ex-couple parted ways in 2021 on a bitter note, and rumours are rife that they are back to talking terms after Naga Chaitanya posted a picture of his pet dog, Hash on his IG handle, which left their fans thinking that they have sorted their difference.
Recently, a report in the Hindustan Times confirmed that Samantha and Chaitanya are not planning to reconcile as they have moved on in their respective lives. A source close to the couple shared that it is just a fan-made assumption and there is no chance of reconciliation. The source further talked about the pet dog, and added that they are co-parenting their pet. The source said:
"They brought Hash into their life when they were together, and are close to him. They are co-parenting the pet dog together, and Hash is with Naga these days as Samantha is travelling globally."

The source further added that Samantha and Chaitanya have made peace with the fact that they cannot be together and want to cherish the moments they had spent together as a couple. The source shared:
"They have moved on in their life, and are not looking to patch up. They have made peace with the fact that they can’t be together, and cherish the moments they spent together as a couple. So, there is no chance of reconciliation between them. Their families also have accepted this and are not even trying to help them patch up or anything."
Rumours of Samantha and Chaitanya getting back on friendly terms made rounds after the actress unarchived her wedding pictures. Earlier, a Reddit user shared screenshots of one of Samantha's posts for Naga for his birthday, which had vanished from the former's IG feed. Alongside it, the user had written:
"Are they back together?"
