Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been garnering a lot of limelight ever since it was announced that she will be taking a short hiatus from acting, in order to recover fully from her auto-immune condition of Myositis. Evidently, Sam had kickstarted her journey to recovery by visiting the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. And now, as she is enjoying her time in Bali, she dropped an unmissable glimpse of taking an ice bath in freezing cold water.
Taking to her IG stories on July 26, 2023, Samantha Ruth Prabhu shared an unmissable glimpse of herself. In the clip, Samantha could be seen meditating, while she took a dip in ice-cold water, which had a temperature of 4 degrees. Along with a caption penned atop the video, Samantha also revealed that she continued her dip for six minutes straight up.

It was on July 19, 2023, when Samantha shared some memorable glimpses from her visit to the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. Being the first step towards her healing journey, Sam decided to spend it in a place which gave her immense peace and give her mindful healing. In the pictures which she shared on her social media handle, Samantha could be seen taking part in extensive meditation and yoga routines.
Previously, a report by GreatAndhra.com claimed that Samantha would be suffering a massive loss of over Rs. 12 crores due to her break. It elaborated that since the actress charges anywhere between Rs. 3.5 to Rs. 4 crores per film, her potential loss could range anywhere between 10-12 crores. It stated:
“Given that Samantha typically charges between Rs 3.5 and Rs 4 crore per film, and considering that she recently signed three projects, her potential loss amounts to anywhere between Rs 10 and Rs 12 crore.”

On July 13, 2023, Samantha gave the first ever indication of her break She shared a picture of herself, along with the filmmaker duo, Raj and DK and screenwriter, Sita Menon on her social media handle, and it was through her caption that she addressed her hiatus. She had written:
“A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming @rajanddk @mensit The family I didn’t know I needed. Thank you for helping me fight every single battle and never ever giving up on me... I wish more than anything in the world to make you proud... Thank you for the role of a lifetime... i.e until you write me the next.”
