Naga Chaitanya gave love another chance by getting engaged to his long-time lover, Sobhita Dhulipala, on August 8, 2024. For the uninitiated, Chaitanya was earlier married to famous South actress, Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The duo tied the knot on October 6, 2017, and the couple called it quits just four days before their fourth wedding anniversary.
On the morning of August 8, 2024, Nagarjuna Akkineni announced his son, Naga Chaitanya's engagement to Shobhita Dhulipala and welcomed the latter into their family. Soon after, Samantha shared a heartbreaking post on her IG stories.

Taking to X, Nagarjuna Akkineni dropped two pictures from Chaitanya and Sobhita's intimate engagement ceremony and penned a beautiful note along with it. The loving father shared the details of the duo's engagement, which took place at 9:42 am and also welcomed Sobhita into their family. He wished the couple a lifetime of love and happiness and wrote:
"We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 am!! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family.
