Samantha Ruth Prabhu took a dig at her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanaya, and called spending money on his 'expensive gifts' useless.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya were once hailed as a powerful couple until they parted ways in 2021, just a few days before their fourth wedding anniversary. Since then, Samantha has clearly stated it wasn't an amicable divorce. Without divulging the details, her words and actions always showed that she was deeply hurt. Now, as Naga Chaitanya is all set to get married for the second time, Samantha took a direct dig at him by calling spending money on his expensive gifts useless.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawal recently sat down for a 'spy-cy' rapid-fire round. The two were seen asking each other some shocking questions, and they answered it with total honesty. And if they failed to do so, they even ate green chillies. Varun asked Samantha about her most ridiculous expense for something useless.
Answering the question with a lot of sass, Samantha stated that it would be spending money on her ex's expensive gifts. Samantha answered the question without batting the eyes. Varun was quick to cross-question her about how much. Samantha laughed and stated that it was quite a bit. She was quoted as saying:
"My exes expensive gifts."

Samantha has been trying to prove that she is a strong woman, but there is one topic that makes her weak in the knees and that is embracing motherhood. In an interview with Times Now, Samantha talked about motherhood and shared that she is looking forward to embracing this beautiful phase.
Samantha further added that she always wanted to settle down in her life. She even talked about age not being a constraint in her motherhood journey. She was quoted as saying:
"I don’t think it’s too late. I still have dreams of being a mother and yeah of course I would love to be a mother. I have always wanted to be a mother, it’s quite a beautiful experience. I am looking forward to it. People often worry about age, but I think there is no time in life when you cannot be a mother."
Samantha also talked about how her life changed after divorce and being diagnosed with myositis. She shared that she is in a happy space and is taking care of herself. Samantha shared:
"I'm in a very happy space right now. I know how to take care of myself and focus on what matters. I think I’m in a very good phase in life. I’m genuinely very happy and I feel I’m blessed to have the opportunity to live every day to the fullest and I think that I might not have been so grateful for an ordinary day before. But now I am!"
On the work front, Samantha Ruth Prabhu was last seen in the film, Citadel Honey Bunny. On the other hand, her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya is all set to get married to Sobhita Dhulipala.
