Sameer Wankhede's Wife, Kranti Hits Back At Questions On His Religion, Shares Their Wedding Picture

NCB officer, Sameer Wankhede is in the headlines after Maharashtra's minister, Nawab Malik questioned his religion. Now, his wife, Kranti Redkar has given a befitting response to the politician.

The NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) zonal director, Sameer Wankhede, has been in the headlines right from the beginning of Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan's son, Aryan Khan's arrest in the Mumbai cruise rave party case. He is also the man behind the investigation of the late actor, Sushant Singh Rajput's drug case and is the same officer, who broke the news headlines when he caught popular singer, Mika Singh at the airport with foreign currency.

However, in recent weeks NCB's top officer has been facing a lot of heat from the media and online news portals. As reports are rife, NCB's zonal director, Sameer Wankhede, was reportedly involved in a Rs. 25 crores deal in Aryan Khan's case. In the middle of these severe allegations against him, Maharashtra's minister, Nawab Malik has also questioned his religion and marriage. After which, his actress-wife, Kranti Redkar, gave a befitting reply to the politician.

On October 25, 2021, Kranti Redkar took to her Twitter handle and addressed the severe accusations of Nawab Malik against her husband, Sameer Wankhede. The doting wife shared two pictures as proof of her marriage with Sameer in a traditional Hindu wedding. Along with the pictures, Kranti also penned a note, which can be read as "Me and my Husband Sameer are born Hindus. We have never converted to any other religion. With respect all religions. Sameer's father too is hindu married to my Muslim Mom in law who is no more. Sameer's ex-marriage was under special marriage act, divorced in 2016. Ours in hindu marriage act 2017."

A few hours ago, Kranti Redkar also shared a cryptic note on Twitter soon after headlines of her husband, Sameer Wankhede's alleged involvement in a Rs. 25 crores deal in Aryan Khan's case has started hitting television screens. Her tweet can be read as "When you swim against the tide, it may drown you, but if the almighty is with you, no tide this is world is big enough to drown you. Because, only HE knows the truth good morning. SATYAMEV JAYATE."

For the unversed, Prabhakar Sail was the bodyguard of the absconding witness, KP Gosavi, and had shared a shocking revelation in the context of Sameer Wankhede. He had revealed that he had heard KP talking to someone and had said that a sum of Rs. 8 crores would have to be provided to NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) Zonal Director, Sameer Wankhede. Going further in his statement, Sail had also added that he was scared, as he had feared that the NCB would kill him after revealing this.

In his statement, Prabhakar Sail had also stated that after he had signed all the blank pages provided to him by the NCB. He and his boss, K P Gosavi, had come out of that office, and that's when he had heard KP talking to a person named Sam D'Souza about their 25-crore deal. He had said:

"Till such time we reached Lower Parel K P Gosavi was talking to Sam on the phone and stated that you put a bomb of 25 crores and let's settle at 18 final because we have to give 8 crores to Sameer Wankhede."
