Sameera Reddy Sheds 11 Kgs, Shares Details Of Her Transformation Story With A Before-After Photo

Sameera Reddy shared her before-and-after photo on her IG handle and mentioned how she managed to shed 11 kgs of weight.

Sameera Reddy has become a social media influencer and has been inspiring the new mommies with her parenting and post-pregnancy tips. She had got married to businessman, Akshai Varde in 2014. In 2015, the lovely couple had welcomed their son, Hans Varde, and in 2019, Akshai and Sameera had welcomed their baby girl, Nyra. Post her pregnancies, Sameera has not been able to give her full time to fitness. However, now, the actress shared the amazing story of her weight loss journey as she shed 11 kgs.

In June 2021, Sameera Reddy had taken to her IG handle and had shared a collage of her pictures. Her post was about how pictures could be misleading. To demonstrate the same, she had posted two pictures of herself, one in which she had posed in a manner that had made her look slimmer, while in the other, Sameera was seen with a belly and flab.

A while back, taking to her IG handle, Sameera Reddy shared a photo collage showcasing her tremendous weight loss. While on the right side was the picture of Sameera after losing 11 Kgs, on the left was her picture before weight loss. In her long note, along with the picture, she mentioned that she was 92 Kgs and turned 81 Kgs after following a fitness regime for one year. Sameera wrote:

“One year ago I started to take my fitness seriously I was 92 kgs. Today I am 81 kgs. But I always say more that the weight loss I’m grateful for increase in my energy levels and agility. What has helped me?  I tend to lose focus but I’m aware so I get back on track immediately.”

Sharing that she does intermittent fasting, has set realistic goals and have a partner, who keeps a check on her progress, Sameera added:

“Intermittent fasting has helped me with my late night snacking habit. I do a lot of inner work to stay away from negative thoughts and stay mindful on being happy with my body now. Choose a sport. It helps make fitness fun. Partner with buddy who checks on your progress every week. Set realistic goals. Don’t aim to immediately drop the weight. Lastly don’t self loathe. Nothing and nobody is worth that stress.Thank you for being my fitness buddy this past one year. Am looking forward will full determination to continue forward and keep this going with you.”

On July 9, 2021, Sameera had shared a picture from her road to fitness. Revealing how she is regaining control over her fitness goals, she had written:

"2020 was letting go and 2021 is about regaining control over my fitness goals. I just finished an hour of yoga with @yogabypramila. I wonder if everyone else in the online class is sweating and panting as much as I am it’s #fitnessfriday and I’m on a mission!! 84.9 kg and i am on my way to 75 kg I’m thrilled with the so many people writing in on how they feel energised with our Friday motivation! It’s a group effort and we can do it how’s it going people."
