Sangeeta Bijlani once shared how she managed to keep her equation with Salman Khan good even after their wedding was called off due to the actor's infidelity.

Salman, who is now tagged as the most wanted bachelor of Bollywood, was about to get married to his ex, Sangeeta, but it couldn't happen as the actor got romantically linked with Somy Ali.
Salman Khan maintains a good equation with a few of his ex-girlfriends, and Sangeeta Bijlani is one of them. It was Sangeeta who reportedly caught Salman red-handed while cheating on her after their wedding cards were printed. Well, it surely took her a lot of time to come to terms with that situation for Sangeeta. In an old interview with The Times Of India, Sangeeta was asked how she managed to keep a good bond with Salman Khan. To this, she gave quite a relatable answer.
Sangeeta said that no matter what happens, some connections never break. She further added that the love between a partner and a school friend never fades. She said that in life, people come and go, and it doesn't necessarily mean that one should always be filled with anger and bitterness against a person. Sangeeta further mentioned that there was a phase in her life when she acted childishly, but she has matured with time and with the experiences of life. Sangeeta could be quoted as saying:
"Connections don't break. Connections never go away. The love between your partners, school friends never go away. People will come and go. Nobody will be permanent in life. That does not mean you will feel bitter or angry. At one point you evolve. There was a point in time of my life where I was childish and stupid, but I am a grown-up now. Life is full of experiences."
Sangeeta Bijlani was a guest on the music show, Indian Idol, wherein a contestant, Ritika Raj Singh asked the actress about her almost-happened wedding with Salman Khan. She asked her about the buzz that her and Salman's wedding cards were also printed. To this, Sangeeta was shocked but she gracefully replied that it was not at all a lie. Meanwhile, Vishal Dadlani asked her to share more details about what happened next.
Salman Khan and Sangeeta Bijlani's wedding date was fixed on May 27, 1994, and the wedding cards were printed too. Well, Sangeeta then reportedly caught her then-beau, Salman, red-handed in Somy Ali's room. Well, she confronted Salman about the same, and the actor called off his wedding with Sangeeta. After Salman, Sangeeta got married to Azhar Azharuddin back in 1996, but the wedding, too, couldn't be successful. Azhar and Sangeeta parted ways in 2010. As per reports, the couple's split was caused due to Azhar's link-up buzz with Indian badminton player, Jwala Gutta.
