From pampering us to accepting all our demands, grandparents know how to love their grandkids. And an exactly similar relationship is brewed between ace Tennis player, Sania Mirza's son, Izhaan Mirza Malik and his maternal grandmother, whom he calls 'nana'. The renowned tennis player, Sania often shares snippets of her son's adorable moments on her Instagram handle. It was October 30, 2018, Sania Mirza and her husband, Shoaib Malik were blessed with a baby boy, whom they had named, Izhaan Mirza Malik. Sania, who is extremely close to her parents, had revealed in many media interactions that her son will take forward the name of 'Mirza family' and this is the reason why she chose Mirza as her son's middle name.
Currently, due to lockdown in the nation, Sania is living with her parents in Hyderabad. On May 31, 2020, she took to her son, Izhaan's Instagram handle and posted a picture of him with his grandmom from the Eid celebration. In the picture, we can see the two sharing a heartfelt laugh. While Izhaan looked adorably cute in the Indianwear his nana wore a pastel blue suit. The picture was captioned as "My nannnaaa and I always having a laugh", followed by a heart emoji. Check it out:
A few days ago, the adorable mommy had posted a picture of one of her son's gimmicks. The little boy, Izhaan had decided to try his hands on painting and but it didn't turn out the way he wanted. In the picture, we could see little Izhaan looking adorable as he had posed for the camera with paint all over his legs. The post was captioned as "So I decided to be Picasso today. In an interview with the Indian Express, Sania had shared how the COVID-19 pandemic has separated her from her husband, Shoaib. She had said, "So he got stuck in Pakistan, I got stuck here. That was very difficult to deal with because we have a small child. We don’t know when Izhaan will be able to see his father again. It’s as basic as that."
She had further shared, "We are both pretty positive and practical people. He has a mother who is over 65 and by herself, so he needs to be there. So in the end, it worked out best that he was there with her. We hope we are healthy and come out of this on the right side of it." Sania also talked about her son, Izhaan and keeping him away from the virus. She said, "I don’t have anxiety problems but a couple of nights ago, I was having anxiety out of nothing. I was lying in bed and thinking of things because there’s so much uncertainty. Having a toddler in the house, you don’t know how to protect yourself, how to protect your child, you have parents who are older. So, you are not really thinking about work or tennis."
