Talking about his personal life, on February 7, 2008, Sanjay Dutt and Maanayata Dutt were pronounced husband and wife in a private wedding ceremony in Goa. After two years, the couple had entered the parents' club, when they had welcomed their twins, a baby girl, Iqra and a baby boy, Shahraan on October 21, 2010. However, when everything in Sanjay Dutt's life was going smooth, the actor was diagnosed with cancer last month. But after a good treatment for some weeks, reports that had flashed in Bollywood Life had suggested that Sanjay Dutt had beaten cancer. On October 19, 2020, Sanjay Dutt's Positron Emission Tomography (PET) report had come out, and he was found to be cancer-free. On October 21, 2020, Maanayata Dutt took to her Instagram handle and shared an adorable picture with her kids to wish them on their tenth birthday. In the photo, all three of them looked stunning in their respective outfits as they twinned in the shades of yellow. Along with this cutesy picture, the doting mother wrote an emotional note for her two cuties and revealed how they are making her life blissful. Her note can be read as "Happy birthday my babies... celebrating the first double-digit birthday already... time just flies!!! I wish you courage, strength... health, happiness, patience and peace. On the other side, Sanjay Dutt took to his IG handle and wished his kids, Iqra and Shahraan on their birthday and posted a picture of a note in which he stated that he has beaten cancer and thanked his doctors, fans, and family for their constant support. A little excerpt from his long note can be read as "The last few weeks were very difficult time for my family and me. But as they say, God gives the hardest battles to his strongest soldiers. And today, on the occasion of my kids' birthday, I am happy to come out victorious from this battle and be able to give them the best gift I can-the health and well-being of our family."
