Famous television actress and Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se fame Poonam Preet and Kundali Bhagya actor Sanjay Gagnani make such an adorable couple from telly land. It’s been almost six years the two have been seeing each other. They first met in 2012 on social media, which soon turned to friendship. They exchanged numbers and started talking over phone.
Poonam and Sanjay are all set to get engaged this month on February 18, 2018. The date as of now is tentative and nothing is finalised yet. The ceremony is scheduled to take place in Surat. Also, the marriage is not going to take place anytime soon. Talking about the same, Sanjay was quoted as saying, “There are no marriage plans as of now. Our careers are our priority and we want to invest our energy and time in work.”
Not just that, in his recent interview with a leading online portal, Sanjay also talked about his relationship with Poonam. He retorted, “Communication is crucial for any relationship to grow. There’s always so much to talk about when you’re from the same industry. Exchanging viewpoints, helping each other, criticising, praising, discussing things about the industry… all this help in creating a better understanding.” On the similar lines, Poonam agreed and was quoted as saying, “When you are in the same profession, especially showbiz, there is no need to clarify when you work overtime." In the same interview, they were also asked about each other’s likings. When Sanjay was asked what the best thing about Poonam is, he said, “Her innocence.” And when Poonam was asked this question about Sanjay, she said, “His honesty and he is caring.”
When Poonam was asked about the uncertainty related to relationships nowadays, she said, “I believe everybody’s destiny is different. So, these things don’t really bother me. I have faith in my relationship and I’m not at all marriage-phobic. I have always dreamt of a fairytale wedding." On the other hand, Sanjay agreed that he used to be marriage phobic, but has eventually won over it. He said, “I was marriage-phobic. In fact, it has taken me six years to overcome my marriage phobia. It was all because of the bitter experiences I had before I met Poonam. She has made me believe in love again.”
