Many love stories start with great friendships and same has been the love chronicle of the ‘baba’ of Tinseltown, Sanjay Dutt and his pretty better half, Maanayata Dutt. Sanjay and Maanayata's love story is one of the most intriguing ones for there are so many theories and hypothesis, which circulate around it. Nonetheless, one thing is for sure that the duo is madly in love with each other. (You May Like: Sunny Leone's Hubby, Daniel Weber Met Her Parents At Her Mom's Funeral When Her Life Was Chaotic)
It is also to be noted here that Maanayata is Sanjay’s third wife as he was first married to Richa Sharma from 1987 to 1996, who died due to brain tumour. Then he went on to marry Rhea Pillai in 1998, but they got divorced in 2005. Sanjay and Maanayata had tied the knot on February 7, 2008, in a low-key affair in Goa. Two years down their wedding bliss, the couple had entered the parenthood club and welcomed twins, Shahraan and Iqra Dutt on October 21, 2010.

Last year, on July 29, 2018, Sanjay Dutt had turned 59 and the doting wifey left no stone unturned to make it the most special day of his life. She had taken to her official Instagram handle and had posted a lovely birthday wish for him, which could be read as, “You are my companion, comforter and friend, I am so blessed to have and to hold you as my husband forever happy birthday love #aboutlastnight #loveofmylife #rockstar #besthalf #love #grace #positivity #dutts #mumbai #beautifulife #thankyougod @duttsanjay.” (Also Read: Alia Bhatt Meeting Sabyasachi Mukherjee To Finalise Her Bridal Lehenga For 2020 Wedding With Ranbir?) Maanayata is a very protective wife to Sanjay and that we have seen during his tough times when he was behind the bars. Talking about the same, the star wife herself had once shared, "Wherever there's power, there's bound to be a lot of conspiracy hovering around that source of power. And let's face it, Sanju is very powerful. There were too many people around him trying to use him. I came like a barricade in Sanju's life to stand between him and those who want to use him. Naturally, these fair-weather friends resent me. I spoilt their party, you see." Revealing the scoops behind her happy life during their courtship period, Maanayata had once shared, "Oh yes. I've never been happier. Sanju has stood by me through thick and thin. I've known him for nine years. We started seeing each other seriously in 2005. But he knew my past. So, when 'friends' tried to provoke him he just laughed it off. He knew everything about me. When I was going through hell before my marriage, I'd pick up the phone and ask him for help. We're both very positive people and we like to live and let live. We both believe in forgiving. And we believe every saint can have a past. And every sinner can have a future."
