Sanjeeda Shaikh first time recalled a shocking incident of a woman groping her breast at night club, and how she was taken aback.
Sanjeeda Shaikh is a famous television face who has been basking in the glory of her successful web series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The actress went through her share of struggles to come this far, both in her personal and professional life. Amidst a lot of fame and love coming her way for her character in SLB's web series, Sanjeeda shared shocking details on how once she was touched inappropriately by a woman at a nightclub.
Television actress, Sanjeeda Shaikh shared an uncomfortable incident that she faced at a nightclub. In an interview with Hautterfly, Sanjeeda revealed how she was touched inappropriately at a nightclub. Recalling the moment, Sanjeeda stated that a woman groped her breast, leaving the actress in shock as she never expected it. She called it a violation of privacy. Sanjeeda said:
"I remember one incident very vaguely but it was by a girl. I was in a nightclub. One girl was passing by and she just touched my breast and she left. I was kind of taken aback, like what just happened. We hear men smack you on the back and they misbehave, ladkiyaan koi kum nahi hai."

Sanjeeda added that if someone is headed on the wrong path, they are going on it, and it has nothing to do with men and women. She further stated that whatever is wrong is wrong, and one should voice it and say that they have wronged you instead of playing the victim card.
During the same interview, Sanjeeda talked about her divorce. She called herself lucky to get out of what happened to her. She added that during that phase, she thought she was the most depressed person because of what had happened to her, but to overcome it and become a happy version is a blessing for her. She said:
"I feel I am very lucky (to have emerged from) whatever happened with me. Maybe I felt then that I was the most depressed person, or I was very sad, or, ‘What is happening with me, what is happening with my life?’ But to overcome all of that and to be happy with this version of myself, I am blessed."
Sanjeeda further discussed her divorce and hinted that there are men and there are partners who try to demotivate you. While every relationship has a good and a bad phase, a woman should take a call for her life. She stated that she simply did what was best for her and started loving herself. She was quoted as saying:
"There are men, and there are partners who try to demotivate you, who tell you that you can’t do anything. Or they will say you will not be able to do this. It’s better to be away from such people. There are phases in every relationship where you are happy, and then there are some when you are not, and then you take a call for your life and that’s what I did for myself, because I started loving myself and I started prioritising myself and that is very, very important."
