Actress, Sara Ali Khan, had once influenced her father, Saif Ali Khan and step-mom, Kareena Kapoor Khan, to break their 'no onscreen kissing policy'. Here's how!
Bollywood actor, Saif Ali Khan had married actress, Amrita Singh at the age of 21 in the year 1991. However, the duo had decided to part ways after 13 years of marital life. Although despite their decision to part ways, both Saif and Amrita have maintained dignity towards each other. Their kids, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, are also on good terms with their father.
Not only that, when Saif had married his Kurbaan co-star, Kareena Kapoor Khan, both Sara and Ibrahim had attended the wedding. In fact, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Sara Ali Khan share quite cordial relations with their step-mother, Kareena. Sara has been quite open about her equation with Kareena and has talked about it quite often in a lot of interviews. Sara has also appeared on Bebo's talk show, What Women Want and had shed light on their relationship with each other.

However, not many know that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan had decided after their marriage on not to shoot kissing scenes with any other co-star. However, it was Sara Ali Khan, who had talked the duo out of it and had influenced them to change the decision of their 'no onscreen kissing' policy. In an interview with Famously Filmfare, Kareena had revealed that the Kedarnath actress was the person behind motivating them to come out of their hesitation of kissing any other co-star for a film.
Stating the same, Bebo had said, "Not many people know, in fact it was Sara who actually we discussed it with. So Saif told his daughter that we've decided to not kiss on-screen. She was like, 'I think that's really silly because you'll are actors, and you know, the films that are being made today, there's nothing wrong if two characters have to kiss each other'."

Kareena Kapoor Khan had further added Sara's explanation and had said, "Like Ki and Ka we (Arjun Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor) were husband and wife. Now I can't be like, 'Okay we can't kiss each other and it has to be that flower waala peck.' So Sara was like, 'Listen, guys as long as you all don't kiss off-screen, I think you should go ahead and kiss on screen.' She was someone who really influenced us."
In her recently released book, KAREENA KAPOOR KHAN'S PREGNANCY BIBLE: the ultimate manual for moms-to-be, Kareena revealed that Sara Ali Khan had accompanied her and Saif on their babymoon to Rome. At that time, Kareena was pregnant with her first son, Taimur. Even this year, after Saif and Kareena's second son, Jehangir Ali Khan's birth, Sara had often visited the family with cute gifts for the little munchkin.
