Last year, we had seen little Taimur celebrating the festival of lights, Diwali with his parents and star siblings, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Kareena Kapoor Khan gave a sneak-peek into her Diwali celebrations in Dharmashala on November 14, 2020. The chhoti begum of the Pataudi clan posted a Boomerang video, wherein she can be seen sitting with her husband, Saif Ali Khan and their little munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan. The cute family was cuddled up in front of a bonfire. Apart from that, Kareena also posted a picture with her bestie, Malaika Arora, who is also in Dharmashala with them to celebrate Diwali. The mommy-to-be donned a simple white kurta for the occasion and paired it with a maroon dupatta, while Malaika sizzled in a golden saree. Check out the pictures below:
Earlier, in an interview with The Times of India, Kareena Kapoor Khan had revealed she and her son, Taimur Ali Khan were planning to head to Dharamshala, where her hubby, Saif Ali Khan is shooting for a film. Revealing how it had been a year since the family had travelled, Kareena had stated that she was really thrilled to travel to the mountains, and spend time amidst the fresh air. Talking about their Diwali plans, the actress had said, “We plan to keep it very quiet and spend as much time in the open as we can. Saif Ali Khan and his begum, Kareena Kapoor Khan had hosted a grand Diwali bash at their residence on November 7, 2018, and it was a star-studded affair. Kareena’s cousins, Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain, her sister-in-law, Soha Ali Khan with husband, Kunal Kemmu, her sister, Karisma Kapoor with her children, Samaira and Kiaan had attended the bash. Bebo had looked stunning in a Raw Mango green-coloured saree and had kept her look minimal by just opting for sindoor and kajal. And, little Tim had looked dapper in black-coloured kurta-pyjama.
As Kareena is expecting her second child, in an interview with Zoom, she was asked about Saif Ali Khan’s reaction to their second pregnancy and Bebo had revealed that there was no filmy reaction. Talking about the same, she had said, “Unfortunately in my house there is nothing filmy as such. Because Saif is very normal and relaxed. Of course, he is always happy to hear it. So like I said, it wasn’t planned but it was something we really wanted to celebrate and we are really enjoying it together.” Kareena is known to be someone, who is extremely professional and doesn't let personal reasons adhere to her work commitments. Even after being five months pregnant, Kareena is actively doing shoots. Some days ago only, the actress had completed the shoot of Aamir Khan starter Laal Singh Chaddha.
Not only in her second pregnancy but during her first pregnancy as well, Kareena was actively working. In an interview with the Filmfare magazine, Kareena had talked about striking a balance between her personal and professional life and had said, “I was working through my pregnancy. Then five and a half months after my delivery, I began working on Veere Di Wedding. I took Taimur to Delhi for the shoot. I’m lucky to have an understanding husband who said, ‘I appreciate the fact that you want to continue your dream’. That’s the most important thing in a marriage."
