A mother-daughter relationship is just like the waves of an ocean. Just like the high and low tides of the ocean, their relationship too is filled with some ups and downs. However, for a daughter, her mother is always her first and forever friend. Sara Ali Khan had made a permanent place in our heart with her debut performance in Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath. Later, with her stellar performances in movies like Simmba and Love Aaj Kal, Sara had garnered a huge fanbase. The stunning actress is often compared with her mother, Amrita Singh for their uncanny resemblance. Amrita Singh is a hands-on mother, who has single-handedly raised her children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan after her separation from Saif Ali Khan. Sara dotes on her mother and her undying love for her is quite visible on her social media handle and interviews.
In a recent interview with the IANS, Sara Ali Khan opened up about how her mother, Amrita Singh comes to her rescue whenever she feels low. Talking about the same, Sara said, “There are days when I don't feel positive. It's normal. That is the part and parcel of life but I think I have a great mother and I think she is the solution to all my problems. With a mother like that it is impossible to be any less than positive.” Sara also stated that her mother has gone through so much in her life and looking at her makes her feel motivated. In her words, “I think she has gone through so much more than I have in her life and if she can walk the way she does with her head held as high as she does as her daughter, then I would be worthy of your compliment.”
Sara Ali Khan has always been praised for her uncanny resemblance to her mother, Amrita Singh and proof of the same was seen at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020. The gorgeous actress, Sara Ali Khan was the showstopper for the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, who had presented their collection at the Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour. Sara had looked breathtaking in a beautiful pink-coloured lehenga choli with dupatta pinned on her head. On February 16, 2020, she had shared the same picture on her Instagram handle. Sara had shared a collage of herself and her mother, Amrita where the actress had struck an exact similar pose as of her mother. The interesting point was that the outfit of Amrita Singh was a masterpiece of the same designers, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla from 1991 and 29 years later, it was Amrita’s daughter, Sara, who had recreated the timeless moment with a modern twist.
