As we talk about the beautiful bond of the mother-daughter duo, we recently stumbled upon a throwback collage of Sara Ali Khan with her mommy, Amrita Singh. Sara looked like a cotton ball as she attended an event with her mother. In one of the pictures, Sara donned a yellow top and blue jeans and in the other picture, the little cutie opted for a red-coloured traditional attire. Sara’s drool-worthy pictures are filled with cuteness and the innocence in her eyes has won our hearts.
Sara Ali Khan has, time and again, expressed how close she is to her mother, Amrita Singh. In one of the Diwali parties of 2019, we had gotten a glimpse of the mother-daughter duo, twining in their traditional best at one of the bashes. Amrita and Sara had looked stunning in their white-coloured anarkali with their hair partially tied and minimal makeup. Sara had captioned the picture as “It’s an all-white kind of night.”
Sara Ali Khan has always been praised for her uncanny resemblance to her mother, Amrita Singh and a proof of the same was seen at the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2020. The gorgeous actress, Sara Ali Khan was the showstopper for the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla, who had presented their collection at the Blender’s Pride Fashion Tour. Sara had looked breathtaking in a beautiful pink-coloured lehenga choli with dupatta pinned on her head. On February 16, 2020, she had shared the same picture on her Instagram handle. Sara had shared a collage of herself and her mother, Amrita where she had struck an exact similar pose as of her mother. The interesting point was that the outfit of Amrita Singh was a masterpiece of the same designers, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla from 1991 and 29 years later, it was Amrita’s daughter, Sara, who had recreated the timeless moment with a modern twist. In July 2019, post the schedule wrap of Love Aaj Kal, Sara Ali Khan had jetted off to London to spend some quality time with her mother, Amrita Singh. Sara had delighted her fans with frequent glimpses from their London vacay. In a cuddly picture, the mother-daughter duo could be seen twinning in white and striking a pose for the camera. Amrita had looked her pretty self in a white long shirt and white leggings, while Sara had stunned in a white dress paired with a denim jacket and pink ballerinas. And they both were all smiles for the camera.
The mother-daughter duo, Amrita Singh and Sara Ali Khan’s features especially jawline and eyes are literally identical. And the star kid is often compared to her mother. Speaking about the same, in an interview with Harper's Bazaar India, Sara had stated, “I took a picture of me in purple lipstick and there was a picture of my mom thirty years ago in purple lipstick. It's more of DNA and chance. I felt 'Wow, we are doing the same thing' but I don't know about acting. She is an extremely fine actor and it will take me a long time to be compared to her.”
In an interview with the Hello! magazine, Sara had shared that it was her mother, who had helped her get ready for her father, Saif's second marriage. She had revealed, “When my father just got married to Kareena, I remember going to the locker with my mother and taking out jewellery and saying which jhumkas should I wear? She called Abu and Sandeep and said, “Saif is getting married and I want Sara to have the most beautiful lehenga."
