Saif Ali Khan's eldest child, Sara Ali Khan recalled meeting her half-brother for the first time and how her heart melted when the newborn smiled at her.
In 1995, Saif Ali Khan became a father for the first time when his ex-wife, Amrita Singh delivered their baby girl, Sara Ali Khan. Six years later, in 2001, Saif and Amrita welcomed their second child, Ibrahim Ali Khan into their lives. But in 2004, Saif and Amrita were granted the divorce and the custody of Sara and Ibrahim was given to the actress. After a few years of his divorce from Amrita, Saif married Kareena Kapoor.

In 2016, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan became parents to a lovely baby boy, Taimur Ali Khan, who in no time became a sensation in India. Saif became 'Quadfather' when Kareena delivered their second child in February 2021. Kareena and Saif have decided to keep their secondborn away from the limelight so much so that they haven't even announced the name of the little one yet. Ever since the birth of the little one, the Kapoors and the Pataudis have been visiting the new residence of Saif and Kareena to meet the newborn.
Four days after the birth of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan's second child, Sara Ali Khan was clicked by the paparazzi, outside the couple's residence. Sara visited her half-brother with lots of gifts. Now, in an interview with News18, Sara recalled meeting the newborn for the first time and how her heart melted when the little one smiled at her. She said, "He looked at me and smiled at me and I just melted. He is just a ball of cuteness."
Speaking of the running joke with her abba, Saif Ali Khan about having a child in every decade of his life, Sara Ali Khan continued, "My running joke with my father is that he's had a child in every decade of his life- in his 20s, 30s, 40s, and now he is in his 50s. He is really very lucky to enjoy four different avatars of fatherhood. This child is going to bring even more joy and excitement to my father and Kareena's life and I couldn't be happier for them."

It was on International Women's Day, when Kareena Kapoor Khan had posted the first-ever glimpse of her newborn son. Kareena had posted a selfie with her little bundle of joy with the caption, "There's nothing women can't do. Happy Women's Day my loves."
To mark Mother's Day 2021, Kareena Kapoor Khan had posted a picture of Taimur Ali Khan, holding his newborn brother. She had written "Aaj umeed pe poori duniya kayam hai, And these two give me hope... for a better tomorrow. Happy Mother's Day to all you beautiful, strong mothers out there... Keep the faith…" in the caption.
While everyone from the Pataudi family including Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu have met Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's newborn son, the little one's grandmother, Sharmila Tagore has not yet met her grandson. Speaking about Sharmila, Kareena had once revealed, "You've not been able to see the little one, the new addition to the family. But we're waiting to actually come together as a family, spend some time with you."

On the work front, while Saif Ali Khan was last seen in Tandav, Kareena Kapoor Khan had hosted What Women Want Season 3 during her second pregnancy.
