Speaking about her lockdown experience and what that period had made her realise, Sara said in an interview with Mid-Day, "Sitting at home for nine months can be difficult for someone as ambitious as me, but there's a learning in everything. I used to have 500 things on my to-do list, believing that [achieving them] will make me happy. The lockdown made me realise that waking up every morning with my mother makes me happy." Sara considers herself fortunate to be introduced to comedy by the best in business, David Dhawan. Speaking about her genes, Sara continued, "I am not as spontaneous as my dad or my mother. On Diwali 2020, the 25-year-old star had given a hilarious proof that it is her brother, Ibrahim, who is a momma’s boy. Amrita and Sara had twinned for this year’s Diwali photoshoot while Ibrahim had complemented them perfectly. But more than their Diwali photoshoot pictures, it was the one that had grabbed our attention in which Amrita hugged Ibrahim and Sara’s reaction to it was every elder sibling ever! Sara had brooded over Ibrahim being mamma’s boy as Amrita leaned on him for a cosy click and the 25-year-old’s insecurity for mommy’s love was evident in her expressions. Sharing the Diwali photoshoot pictures, Sara had captioned it with a couple of emojis instead of her usual Sara ki shayari. Sara Ali Khan is undoubtedly the carbon copy of her mother and one scroll of her Instagram profile is enough to prove that. Do you remember how Sara had penned down a poem for Amrita Singh with an array of pictures and amazingly expressed what her mommy means to her. ‘Amrita ki beti’, Sara had written, "Mirror mirror- are you mommy or a reflection? The only difference between us- is I always want her attention. She, on the other hand, is full of love, hugs and affection. And undivided time and energy I sometimes forget to mention. My anchor, my inspiration, the magician that takes away all tension. She has cured for mood swings, hair-fall, dry skin and water retention. Her versatility, commitment, patience, and selflessness is beyond my comprehension. With her around no sadness lasts, no fear persists there can’t be much apprehension. Basically without contention, no need to even mention, mommy is best in every dimension. #amritakibeti #sarakishayari."
In an interview with a leading media portal, Amrita Singh had revealed that one problem she has from Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. She was quoted as saying, “Sara is a very God-loving child and has immense respect for every belief. She is also an extremely disciplined girl, be it her work or her mind and body. I see the effort she puts in every day to keep the balance and that’s really commendable. Ibrahim is the “old soul” in our home. He’s kind and gentle and has the most sorted mind. He’s gifted with the ability to face the harshest truth with a brave smile and a strong will to overcome any shortcomings. But, the one problem I have with them is that they are both extremely messy and untidy!” (Also Read: 'Coolie No 1' Actress, Sara Ali Khan Reveals Director David Dhawan Was Angry At His Son Varun Dhawan)
