Amid dating and breakup rumours with cricketer, Shubman Gill, Sara Ali Khan revealed whether she will marry a man of the same profession.
Sara Ali Khan is one of the most loved actresses of the current generation. The actress is widely loved for her bubbliness and down-to-earth nature. She never shies away to stun her fans with her amazing acting skills and fashion quotient. Moreover, she often hits the headlines with her personal life and dating rumours. For the unversed, Sara was rumoured to be dating young cricketer, Shubman Gill.
In a recent interview with India Today, Sara Ali Khan was asked whether she would follow in her grandmother, Sharmila Tagore’s footsteps and marry a cricketer. For the uninformed, Sharmila was married to cricketer, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. However, while answering the same, Sara said that she doesn't care about the profession of any individual; rather, what she thinks to be the most important is to match her intellectual and mental levels. Elaborating on the same, Sara mentioned:
"I think that the kind of person that I am, to find somebody it doesn’t matter what they do — actor, cricketer, businessman, doctor… Maybe not doctors, they will run away. But you know the truth is that jokes apart, you will need to match me on the mental and intellectual level. And if you can do that, I think it’s great, wow but I think that would matter to me much, much more (than the profession)."

Further, in the same interview, Sara Ali Khan was asked if she saw herself dating someone from the current Indian team squad. To answer such a question, Sara added that she hasn't met with such a person with whom she can settle down. Talking about the same, Sara Ali Khan revealed:
"I’ll be honest with you, I think and I can say this with almost assurity, I think the person I am going to be in my life I have not met so far. I really don’t think so."
The relationship rumours between Sara and Shubman started hitting the headlines after the alleged couple were often spotted together, be it in the airport or on a dinner date. However, Shubman once appeared on Sonam Bajwa's Punjabi talk show, Dil Diyan Gallan, where the cricketer's reply to the questions that mentioned Sara raised eyebrows. Shubman was asked which Bollywood actress he thinks to be the fittest. To which, Shubman took Sara's name. When Sonam asked whether he was dating Sara, Shubman said 'maybe'. Soon after, Sonam escalated the fun conversation and asked, “Sara ka sara sach bolo." To which, Shubman replied:
"Sara da sara sach bol diya. Maybe, maybe not.”

Although Sara and Shubman never opened up about their speculated relationship, just a few days ago, a report from Telly Chakkar claimed that the alleged couple, Sara Ali Khan and Shubman Gill have unfollowed each other on Instagram. This move by the duo undoubtedly turned heads and raised eyebrows and sparked breakup rumours between them. For the unversed, Shubman has also been speculated to be dating Sachin Tendulkar's daughter, Sara Tendulkar.
