We’re all weird.” - Defining her weirdness in Koffee With Karan, Sara Ali Khan became the Sweetheart of the entire nation in no time. It has been almost 13 years since the release of Jab We Met, but even today, we cannot get over the characters, songs, dialogues and everything about that film, especially Geet. Every girl would have once said the dialogue, “Main Apni Favourite Hoon”! More than us, it is Geet a.k.a., Kareena Kapoor Khan’s step-daughter, Sara Ali Khan, who is her die-hard fan. So much so that she believes her strong admiration for her was the reason she had got Kareena in her life. In an interview with , Sara had once said, “People tell me you’ve willed this to happen. You have been such a die-hard Kareena fan that you have willed her into your life and this is what you get.”

More than her inspirational fat-to-fab journey, we love Sara Ali Khan for being comfortable in her skin and proudly flaunting her throwback days when she was overweight with the same confidence with which she flaunts her bikini-clad body. As her Freaky Friday post, Sara had posted a collage, posing in traditional wear, and had captioned it, "Some things never change... Literally! Throwback to smaller Sara (in some ways). Same pose, same expression, same sajhna-dhajna, same conviction. I know I look like a creepy kid that could justify fright but kindly ignore the devilish expression and look beyond at my consistent continuity. #flashbackfriday #freakyfriday." (Also Read: Unseen Throwback Pictures Of Sara Ali Khan From Her Abba, Saif Ali Khan And Kareena Kapoor's Wedding)

Granddaughter of the ace cricketer, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and veteran actress, Sharmila Tagore, daughter of suave Saif Ali Khan and spunky Amrita Singh, princess Sara Ali Khan has created a niche for herself in the showbiz world. In an interview with Filmfare, Sara had revealed if she’s following any strategy, “As a newcomer, what’s utmost important is conviction. I need to be convinced about my director, the script or the role or preferably all. People talk about that one Friday. What they don’t realise is how many Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, are spent shooting. You live in a world, far away from home, in an unfamiliar environment, working towards something. The only way I can work is honestly, purely and with conviction. So that’s the only strategy I will follow.”

When asked, “Is superstardom your aim or you just want to be known as a great actor?” Sara Ali Khan had retorted, “I don’t want any filmmaker to turn around and say, ‘Yeh Sara nahi kar payegi’. That’s my aim. Personally, I don’t believe in stardom. I find it all a bit funny, a bit weird. I don’t mean to ridicule the concept because our country loves stars. We worship them and we celebrate them. I’ve been a huge fan of Sridevi. I believe she’s the last star our country will see. Now everyone has become a little common. You can see me singing with Ranveer, you can see me fooling around with Sushant, you can see me dancing alone…. all on Instagram sitting on your pot. Where is the stardom? It’s become so accessible. I believe the only way forward is doing meaningful work that people connect with. That’s my endeavour. I want to do every kind of film. I’m lucky to have had films like Kedarnath and Simmba simultaneously because they helped me explain myself as an actor. Mujhe Ganga main dupki lagana hai, mujhe ‘Aankh maare’ par nachna bhi hai… I want to do everything. I want to be able to position myself as cute, hot, funny, niche, arty, commercial… . I’m here to act.” (Also Read: Sara Ali Khan Reveals The One Trait She Would Like To Imbibe From Her Stepmom, Kareena Kapoor Khan)
