South Korean popular content has taken the world by storm, mainly after the 2020 pandemic. Along with the ordinary people, many renowned celebrities have become die-hard fans of K-drama and K-pop. Even recently, King Charles applauded the contribution of K-pop to the modern world. He talked about how BTS’ craze is similar to that of yesteryear’s popular rock band, The Beatles.

Among the seven members, Kim Namjoon, Kim Seokjin, Min Yoongi, Jung Hoseok, Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jung Kook, the golden maknae of BTS, that is, Jungkook has a special place in Selena's heart. BTS has gained a massive following in the Western world since their first win at the Billboard Music Awards in 2017. It surprised both 'ARMYs' and 'Selenators' when Selena Gomez expressed her heartfelt desire to sing with the K-pop group, BTS. Moreover, the Single Soon singer also playfully requested Jungkook to text her. She said:

“I want to sing with BTS. They are brilliant guys. Jungkook, text me.”

Well, this was not the only occasion when Selena Gomez professed her love for the K-pop boy band, BTS. The Who Says singer once sent the netizens into a meltdown when she proclaimed her love and affection for the South Korean septet, saying, “I Love BTS” during an Instagram live session.

The American singer, Selena Gomez, released her song, Single Soon, in August 2023, after which she was seen in the recently concluded season 3 of Only Murders In The Building. Previously, some reports suggested that the singer is working on her next studio album. Selena also had her hands full with some charity work with her beauty brand, Rare Beauty.

On the other hand, BTS, as a group, is on a hiatus til 2025 as they have to undergo compulsory military service. However, Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook released their solo albums and songs before announcing their military enlistment.
