Telly land is set to witness another gorgeous celeb couple walk down the aisle this year, well not exactly a celeb couple, but sort of. The lovebirds here are Naagin fame actress Sharika Raina and Kumkum Bhagya fame actor, Shabir Ahluwalia’s brother Sameer who works as a supervisor producer with a production house.

When we first came across this happy news, we wanted to know how this happened. Shabir never spoke about it nor did the pretty actress. We wanted to know how the sparks flew, was it love at first sight or Shabir set them up. Thankfully, bride-to-be Sharika shared it all in a candid interview with a leading daily.

Talking about how they first met, Sharika, if it was love at first sight or not, she said:
"I met Sameer while shooting for the show in Rajasthan. He is a supervisor producer with the production house. He was completely engrossed in his work. The first thing that struck me about him was his professionalism.”

Wow, that’s quite a hatke first impression, wasn’t it? So, did his professionalism impress her the most or was it something else? Here's what the actress has to say:
“I remember this one instance when we wrapped up the shoot quite late in the night. He had made arrangements for those who didn't have their own transportation. I was impressed with his helpful nature. We became friends and then, fell in love."
That’s so sweet! Now revealing about how things became official between Shabir’s brother’s family and Sharika’s family, she said:
"It was his dad's birthday celebration. When I went there, I was welcomed by all with so much love. My dad also approved of my choice."

Now finally talking about ‘the moment’, we mean the proposal; the actress surprised us by saying:
"I took him to a coffee shop on the eve of his birthday. At the stroke of 12, I bent on my knees and proposed to him."
Well, that was so cool Sharika! So how will the wedding be? The actress said:
"We are having a Catholic wedding (since Sameer's mom is a Catholic) and a Kashmiri wedding (since she's a Kashmiri Pandit) in the month of May."
