First comes love, then comes marriage and then starts the whole learning process of memorising all the important dates and occasions. Well, a marriage is considered 'happily ever after' until you get the vows and then hits the reality which no one ever warns us about (pun intended). But it is all worthwhile when you see a happy better-half with whom your life turns into a paradise. You tend to start living happily with the chaos of your partner, you make peace with their snoring habit and in no time they become an irreplaceable part of you. And that's the exact relationship shared between Bollywood superstar, Shah Rukh Khan and his wife, Gauri Khan. In the ’90s, when we knew nothing about true love, a dimpled young man, Shah Rukh walked onto our screens and made us believe in the dialogue, ‘hum ek baar jeete hai, ek baar marte hai, shaadi bhi ek baar hoti hai or pyaar bhi ek baar hi hota hai’. Shah Rukh made the entire world go aww whenever we spot him with his lady love, Gauri Khan. It’s been almost three decades since the two had tied knot and their love still continues to blossom with every passing day. There have been many media interactions, wherein Shah Rukh had talked about his wife and had said that she always comes first in his list of priorities. He had even gone on records and stated that if ever he is asked to make a choice between his career and Gauri, he'll leave films for her.
On February 1, 2020, Gauri hosted a lavish bash which was attended by the who's who of Bollywood. The night was attended by their best friend, Karan Johar, Ananya Panday, Sidharth Malhotra and several others. However, it was the host of the night, Shah Rukh and Gauri, who stole the limelight with their glamorous entry. For the night, Shah Rukh donned a crisp white shirt and a pair of black trousers which he teamed with a velvet blazer. On the other hand, Gauri opted for a plunging neckline red gown for the occasion. Take a look at the pictures below:
On March 27, 2019, Shah Rukh had celebrated the World Theatre Day, and as we all know he had begun his acting journey from theatre, it holds a huge part in his success. The actor had taken to his Instagram handle and had posted a lovable selfie with the director of his life and his wife, Gauri. Alongside it, he had written, “Being with you is like being on Stage. There’s so much light, I can’t see anything else. Curiosity to know New, Humility to accept u will never know if fully...makes u an actor. #WorldTheaterDay.” In an interview with the IANS, Gauri had shared the impacts of being a superstar's wife. She had said, "I think because of who he (Shah Rukh) is, there are a lot of positives. I only take the positives and I don't take the negatives. Even if there are some negatives, I have to brush it aside and the reason is very simple... because he helped me while launching Gauri Khan Designs, so, he is very important to me. Jokes apart, he has done a lot for our family. He is a great father and husband. I have to say that there are only positives being his wife and I would not like to share anything negative." I pick and choose when I want to be in spotlight, which is only connected to my work and when I need to use the media. I feel media is important when you are showcasing your work as people need to know what you are doing. So, I enjoy that part as well." In an interview with DNA, Shah Rukh had got candid about his wife, Gauri, and had shared, “Moving to Mumbai was a radical change for us. Not only for her, for me too. Not for any other reason but because we were uprooted from the city that we were born and brought up in and suddenly put into a new world — that was so different from anything real. I think Gauri and I, both, dealt with it. There were days where I would be explaining to her things that I didn’t understand. There were days when she would stand by me and say, ‘Okay, this is how it’s gonna be. Let’s make the best of it.’” (Don't Miss: On Armaan Jain's Sangeet, Ranbir Kapoor And Aadar Jain To Dance With Alia Bhatt And Tara Sutaria) Well, we totally love Shah Rukh and Gauri's latest appearance!
