Shah Rukh Khan's outburst in 2012 captured all the headlines, and now, almost a decade later, the truth behind the actor's anger has surfaced, and it involves his daughter, Suhana Khan.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is known for his humble nature, back in 2012, had a major fallout with a security person in Mumbai's Wankhede stadium during a match between KKR and MI. It so happened that the actor was banned from entering any MCA premises, including Wankhede Stadium, for five years. This incident happened more than a decade ago, but people yet couldn't get over it, and it remained undercover what had actually happened, which made SRK lose his cool.

Recently, KKR beat MI during their match at the latter's home ground on May 3, 2024, after twelve years. After this, an ex-staff member of KKR revealed what had actually happened back in 2012, which made Shah Rukh lose his cool towards a security member. Taking to X (Previously Twitter), the ex-staff of KKR, Joy Bhattacharjya, penned that the last time KKR had beaten MI in Wankhede, he was at the dugout.
Later, another netizen commented that it was a 'curse' for the team to not be able to win matches against MI, as Shah Rukh had hurled abuse back in 2012. Replying to the same, Joy Bhattacharjya revealed what had happened. He stated that it was not surely a curse, as KKR won two championships after that incident. Clearing the old gossip, Joy added that Shah Rukh didn't abuse. He also asked the netizen if he would stay calm if someone catcalled his younger daughter, which possibly hinted that Suhana was catcalled back in 2012, which made Shah Rukh lose his cool.

During his appearance on the show, Aap Ki Adalat, Shah Rukh Khan talked about the incident. The actor mentioned that his kids were present there, and someone mentioned, "Hatao yaha se." To this, the actor had also let the security persons know that his kids were present there and he was taking them, but meanwhile, another person chipped in and uttered some words which he felt were very abusive, which made him upset, and he went to hit that person.
