Shah Rukh Khan instantly replied to Sumit's post and, in his witty best, revealed that he also wanted to paint the wall of his house with Jawan dialogues but couldn't do it as he doesn't have a huge wall in his house. He wrote:
"Maine bhi socha tha teri lines ek deewar par lagaunga. Itne lambe lambe lambe dialogues hain tere….itni lambi deewar hi nahi hai ghar mein!"
Shah Rukh Khan's film, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, completed 31 years, and it was supposed to be his debut film, but it was delayed. Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, his co-star, Viveck Vaswani, opened up about the time when the superstar was not in favour of appearing in the films. He had a simple answer: he would have to hug girls, and his wife, Gauri Khan, doesn't like it.
Viveck further revealed that Shah Rukh came back to Mumbai after his father passed away. They stayed together, and Shah Rukh also revealed the reason for working in television and refusing film offers. However, it was after Shah Rukh's mother's demise that he shared that he was ready for films. Until then, Shah Rukh only wanted to be part of television. Shah Rukh shared that reason for whic he cannot work in films because he will have to hug girls in the film, and Gauri had said 'no' to him. He was quoted as saying
"Shah Rukh Khan used to live in my house. When he returned to Mumbai after his mother died and he said 'Let's do a film', I had to say 'yes'. Until then, he preferred to work only in TV. He was against films. When I asked him the reason, he said, 'I can’t do films because I’ll have to hug girls in films. And Gauri has said no'! I told him 'Ok. You come and stay with me. We’ll figure out life'."
Viveck also revealed that Shah Rukh decided to do films as it was his mother's dream to see him on the big screen, and she wanted him to be the superstar. Recalling the good old days, Viveck was quoted as saying:
"But after his mother passed away, he decided to work in films as it was his mother’s dream that he should become a superstar. Every night, we would sit at the Taj President Hotel, Cuffe Parade, which is next to my house and brainstorm on what we should make."
