Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's journey to marriage wasn’t a cakewalk and the couple had faced their fair share of struggles on the way. The problems in Shah Rukh and Gauri’s journey had arisen as she hailed from a family of Hindu Brahmins and he was the pathani Muslim guy. It was tough for the couple to convince her parents for an inter-religion union. But eventually, they had given a nod to their relationship. I don't believe in that. I think everybody is an individual and follow their religion. But, obviously there should be no disrespect. Like Shah Rukh would not disrespect my religion as well."
