During the latest 'AskSRK' session, Shah Rukh Khan opened up about the recently-released song, 'Nikle The Kabhi Hum Ghar Se' from the film, 'Dunki' and revealed it reminded him of his late parents.

And now, he is gearing up for the release of his next film, Dunki. However, before the film's release, Shah Rukh engaged in a fun chit-chat session with his fans.
Shah Rukh Khan loves his late parents to the core of his heart, and he often expresses how much he misses them. And a glimpse of the same was found in his recent interaction with his fans. It so happened that on December 2, 2023, SRK hosted his much-popular 'AskSRK' session on his X handle (previously known as Twitter). During the session, one of his fans inquired him about the recently released song, Nikhle The Kbhi Hum Ghar Se from the film, Dunki and asked Shah Rukh what he felt when he first heard the song. To this, the actor gave a beautiful response, which left everyone in awe of him. Shah Rukh's reply can be read as:
"Yes it really makes me think about my parents...my Delhi days...friends made and lost in time. Very emotional #Dunki."

During the same session, another fan of Shah Rukh Khan asked him about his Delhi days. Answering the question, the actor gave an amazing reply and revealed how much he misses his childhood days. Mentioning how deeply he misses his late parents, Meer Taj Mohammed Khan and Lateef Fatima Khan, Shah Rukh said:
"Main toh Abhi bhi Bachaa hoon. Had a lovely childhood and I do miss my parents a lot. #Dunki."
Earlier, when Shah Rukh appeared on Salman Khan's show, Dus Ka Dum, he opened up about the importance of love. Talking about the same, the actor revealed that he didn't express his love to his parents enough when they were alive, and that is the biggest regret of his life. Elaborating more about it, Shah Rukh mentioned:
"I am a father to three kids and all parents wish that their children remind them once a month, once in six months or even once in a year that I love we love you. After my parents died, I realised that I should've told them that I love them a few more times."

During the promotion of her film, Hichki, Rani Mukerji asked her friends from the industry to share the hiccups they had faced in life. And her dearest friend, Shah Rukh Khan, was among the first few to talk about the same. Elaborating more about it, King Khan stated that the death of his parents was the greatest 'Hichki moment' of his life. Recalling the time, the actor mentioned that the pain of losing both his parents was overwhelming, and it could have taken over his life fully. However, he decided to overcome that phase by letting acting take an important place in his life.
