When asked for his political advice, Shah Rukh Khan didn't hesitate to share his straightforward views. He first acknowledged the nature of his profession, which involves 'lying and deceit ', but he emphasised that politicians should not follow this. Instead, they should be proud of their nation, refrain from underhanded dealings, and work honestly. In his own words:

"My job involves me to 'lie and deceit' for a living, so I'm all show. I think the only idea should be to work honestly and have pride in your nation. Love the country and let's not take money under the table. Let's not do shady stuff. If we do things the right way, we'll all make money, we'll all be happy, and we'll become a great and proud nation. So my advice to all politicians is, be as honest as realistically possible."

A hospital ward in Mumbai is named after Shah Rukh Khan's mother, Lateef Fatima Khan

Shah Rukh Khan once visited the Nanavati Hospital to visit one of his colleagues' family. Upon his visit, he noticed that the hospital's condition was quite poor due to a lack of funds, and the machinery needed a major update. Deeply moved, SRK donated a substantial amount to the hospital so that they could have the required upgrade. In honour of this, the Nanavati Hospital authorities named the children's ward after Shah Rukh Khan's mother, Lateef Fatima Khan. SRK was very touched by this honour and spoke about it in several of his interviews. He continues donating to charities that work towards wellness.
