Sisters are the first best-friends, who make us learn different things and see the world through their own eyes. And, yet they give us a chance to make our own mistakes and live our life on our own terms. There is something extremely special about having a sister that no one else can ever understand. An exactly similar bond is shared between the Bhatt sisters – Alia, Shaheen, and Pooja. On March 15, 2019, Alia ringed in her 26th birthday and her elder sister, Shaheen made sure to make her day super special. She took to her official Instagram handle to share an adorable throwback video of baby Alia at her best. Along with the video, she wrote, “I suppose there are many kinds of love. And often, we love different people in similar ways. But there’s a special type of love, a type of love that is reserved for one person and one person alone.”

She further described the love she feels for her, and wrote, “There is no replicating that feeling. No distributing it. No diluting it. No changing it. It is love in its purest and most unadulterated form. My notions of love changed the day I saw your crinkly little face and so did I. You are a wonder to me, not for the remarkable things you have achieved, but for you who you are. Nothing has taught me as much about love as being your sister has and I promise, whether it’s at 7 or 70, I will always be there to carry you. What is love? Pretty sure this is. Happy Birthday.” Check out the video here: (Also Read: Anisha Padukone Teases Deepika Padukone On Her Wax Statue, Says As If One Of Her Wasn't Enough)

Alia adores her elder sister, Shaheen and completely understands her life struggles and the phase of depression, she once went through. When Shaheen published her first book, I’ve Never Been (un)Happier, the Raazi star had posted an emotional video, wherein, she talked about her sister’s book. She had said, “When I come home after a long day at work or I am just sulking because of life, just one look at your older but still sparkling brown eyes just lights up my heart like you can’t imagine.” (You May Also Like: Esha Deol's Lovely Birthday Wish For Big Brother Abhay Deol, Shares An Unseen Throwback Picture)

She had further added, “When I read your very first book, a book that you have written with so much ease and honesty, while I struggle to write one letter to you. I feel awful. I feel terrible because despite living with you for 25 years, I have never really understood your silent moments of depression. I never recognised a snappy moment as something much bigger. Every time you refused to go out for dinner, I would think she rather sit at home and watch TV, be alone, not that you couldn’t bring yourself to get out of bed. Today you have connected to me on a basic, human level. And you have taught me so much more about life.”

She concluded the video by apologising to her, and had stated, “I know you hate the fact that we all are saying sorry to you, but take the apology because even though we love you, I don’t think we understood what you were going through, to this extent.” (Don't Miss: Ranbir Kapoor's Ex, Katrina Kaif Wishes His Current GF, Alia Bhatt On Her Birthday With New Nickname)
