On December 5, 2021, Shahid Kapoor took to his IG handle and posted a selfie with Mira Rajput Kapoor from their date night. Shahid looked handsome as always in a grey hoodie, while Mira stunned in black attire. By giving a glimpse of their romantic date night, Shahid wrote, "My date for tonight... and kinda every night", followed by a face with stuck-out tongue emoji atop the picture. On the other hand, Mira took to her IG stories and shared a selfie, which she clicked while leaning on to Shahid as the two struck an adorable pose.
On November 19, 2021, Mira Rajput Kapoor had shared a love-filled picture with her hubby, Shahid Kapoor on her Instagram handle. In the picture, we could see Mira holding Shahid's hand as they had posed for the camera. While Mira had looked stunning in a rust-coloured dress with white floral print, the actor had looked dapper in his white T-shirt, a jacket and military green-coloured baggies. Giving a reference to Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Mira had expressed her wish to frame this picture in the background while she (just like Jaya Bachchan) would climb on the stool to fix her husband's tie. The caption to her picture could be read as:
''Shall we frame this in life size for the living room while I fix your tie on a stool? #parampara”.

On July 7, 2021, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor had completed six years of married life, and to mark their wedding anniversary, the star wife had posted a mushy picture with the love of her life. Expressing how words cannot suffice the love she has for him, Mira had captioned her mushy picture with Shahid as:
"I love you more than words suffice. Happy 6, my love my life."
On the work front, Shahid's much-awaited film, Jersey is slated to release on December 31, 2021.
