Shahid Kapoor was recently enjoying an all-boys trip in Europe with fellow actor, Kunal Kemmu, half-brother, Ishaan Khatter, celeb skin expert, Dr.Jewel Gamadia and actor, Suved Lohia. A picture posted by Shahid had the dapper star pose amidst the backdrop of the beautiful Switzerland mountains, standing in front of a BMW bike, in a biker attire. While Bollywood’s Kabir Singh had captioned the picture with a mere hashtag which read “#traveldiaries”, it was Shahid’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor’s comment that had blown our minds! Mira’s first comment was all about an array of fire emojis, the next comment had her tagging her sister, Noor Wadhwani and compliment her hubby’s look. Her comment could be read as “I know right. He’s even aced hat-hair.” Doesn’t this suggest that she totally can’t get over her ‘oh-so-handsome’ hubby?
Shahid Kapoor’s fondness towards bikes and cars is not unknown to anyone. With every opportunity that he gets, Shahid purchases or enjoys his time with an amazing collection of motor beasts that he boasts of. And yesterday was no different! Paparazzi captured Shahid in his full ‘Kabir Singh’ mode, riding a sports bike and wearing a biker ensemble while coming out from his dinner date with his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, who had twinned with her star hubby in black. While Shahid arrived for his date on a bike, Mira came and left separately in a car.
It has been 4 years since Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor have been married but we still can’t get over their wedding pictures and videos! While you must have seen many pictures from Shahid and Mira's Hindu wedding, there are a few pictures from their Gurudwara wedding we are yet to see. The mahurat of Shahid and Mira's Gurudwara wedding was 11 am when they had a simple Anand Karaj wedding. With only their closest of members in attendance, Shahid had opted for a white kurta-pyjama along with a safa, while his then-newbie bride, Mira had donned a simple a peach and green suit, with a shell maang-teeka and very minimal makeup. And now, we present to you, a rare unseen picture from Shahid and Mira’s Gurudwara wedding as they took their chaar laava (four pheras)! While Shahid Kapoor is riding high on the pillion of professional success, everyone wants to know about Mira Rajput Kapoor’s career plans. Speaking of the same, Mira had shared in an interview, “Yes, I would love to work, especially in a field that is creatively stimulating, but also allows me time with family. Perhaps something with food or lifestyle. I do not have a deadline as I am going to have another baby and then decide.” Her hubby, Shahid is also extensively supportive of Mira in whatever decision she makes. In an interview, Shahid had stated, “Mira, who is just 22, would prefer to have a second kid soon as well. She wants to flip the norm, get the kids to a certain age and then be free to do what she likes.” When we all had heard that Shahid Kapoor is getting married to a girl who is not from the industry, we all had wished if it were us. But alas! By the time we thought so, Shahid was already a taken man! In a 2015 interview with the India Today, Shahid had stated, “I noticed everyone's expressions, "Kya? Kaun? Yeh kaun hai? (What? Who? Who is this person?)" And it was not just about being a non-celebrity; Mira was not part of my social circuit either. But I don't close myself to anything new. It doesn't matter where or how two people meet. What matters is if two people connect. And I got that feeling [with Mira]. Sometime back, I used to tell myself, "I have been in relationships with celebrities, but maybe, it might be interesting to be with someone who isn't a celebrity." And one year later, I got married to someone who is a normal girl (laughs). I love the fact that I go back home to a normal person, who talks about normal things; and who sometimes tells me, "I'm not interested in what's happening in your industry. Let's discuss what we are doing for lunch tomorrow or where are we going." It's great and very healthy.” Shahid and Mira, we love you!
