Shahid Kapoor gets angry at awaiting paparazzi outside the venue of his half-brother, Ruhaan Kapoor's wedding reception.
Shahid Kapoor and the entire Kapoor-clan are busy with the wedding celebrations of Ruhaan Kapoor with his ladylove, Manukriti Pahwa. For the unversed, Ruhaan is Shahid’s half-brother, and the son of Pankaj Kapur and Supriya Pathak. On September 2, 2023, Ruhaan’s wedding reception took place in Mumbai, and it was attended by Shahid and his wife, Mira Rajput among others.
We recently got hold of a video clip, from right outside the venue of Ruhaan Kapoor’s wedding reception. It featured Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, as they exited from the celebrations, along with one of their friends and waited for their car to arrive. However, what caught everyone’s attention was when Shahid seemed to get angry at the awaiting paparazzi outside the venue. It so happened that on seeing the actor and his wife, the stationed paparazzi started to shout and hoot for Shahid, who was standing all but a few steps ahead. However, Shahid got angry as they shouted loudly, and can be seen rebuking them for the same. He said:
“Chilla kyu rahe ho? Kya hojayega? Main yehi pe khada hoon na? Paagalon ke tarah kyu chilla rahe ho? Relax karo. Yehi hai hum. Jab main gaadi mein chala jaunga na, phir chillana. Phir it makes sense. Idhar hi hoon.”

Shahid’s video of getting into a heated exchange with the media became viral in no time. And eagle-eyed netizens took note of the same, and started penning their views about it. Well, a major section of the netizens were seemingly upset with Shahid’s behaviour, and they started to criticise him for the same.Taking to the comment section, they expressed their anger on Shahid for appearing to be too pricey about his success.
Well, when it comes to weddings in a family, we all love to dress up and put our best foot forward in terms of fashion. And in the case of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput, things were no different. For the reception party, Shahid opted for a grey-coloured suit with a matching shirt. On the other hand, Mira looked beautiful as she complemented Shahid in a black wrap dress with wide sleeves and white stripe detail at the bottom. The duo looked lovely together as they flashed their biggest smiles for the shutterbugs.

A few days back, Shahid Kapoor dropped a glimpse of himself and his dad, as they got ready for Ruhaan Kapoor’s wedding ceremony. He looked dashing in a black kurta as he posed with his dad, Pankaj Kapur who twinned with him. However, in another picture that he shared, he could be seen getting ready for the grand event, as he tied a pagri for the family wedding. He penned a special note, and said:
“Dad always says ghar pe Shaadi hogi to pag paega na."
