Shahid Kapoor shared how his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor always keep their relationship real, and how he manages work-life pressure with family time.
Family is the key element behind the success of a person. Setting priorities and managing work-life pressures with family is what we can learn from the Kabir Singh actor, Shahid Kapoor. The successful Hindi film actor, Shahid Kapoor and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor are the power couple of Bollywood. The madly-in-love duo keeps on sharing the best days of their lives on their social media handles. And there is no doubt that everyone wants to know what’s going on in their married life.
On July 07, 2015, Shahid Kapoor had married Mira Rajput, and on August 26, 2016, they had welcomed their little daughter, Misha Kapoor. Two years later, on September 5, 2018, they were blessed with their second child, Zain Kapoor. Shahid Kapoor has worked in many films, but recently, he talked about taking up the role of a responsible father and a doting husband.

In an interview with ETimes, when Shahid Kapoor was asked about the key lessons on balancing work pressure and family time, he shared how he takes cues from his fights with wifey, Mira Rajput. Talking about the same, Shahid revealed:
“As for Mira, when we fight, I use it all for my intense scenes, and when we have happier moments, I use that energy to spread positivity. It works for me in every way.”
He also added that as a responsible father, an actor should take roles very consciously, the ones that will make their kids proud. On being asked in The Kapil Sharma Show whether he had taken his wife, Mira to the Maldives as ‘compensation’ to his kissing scenes with his co-star, Mrunal Thakur in Jersey, the actor burst out laughing. His reply to Kapil’s joke was:
“You know, the film that I am doing now has no heroine. I think Mira wishes that I don’t even get a scene with a girl, I should do male oriented films where there is one man and it’s all about his story.”

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor are poles apart in making choices, like for music, he’s into German electronic music, and she likes Indie pop. However, when it comes to bringing up their kids, Misha Kapoor and Zain Kapoor, they are a team. Roles are perfectly cut out as Mira is the disciplinarian and Shahid is the softy. Shahid had explained in an interview with Vogue:
“Our kids are the first two projects we actually did together. One year into an arranged marriage, when you haven’t spent enough time together [earlier], you really evolve around each other.”
When Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput had tied the knot in 2015, apart from their age difference (she was 21, he was 35), their distinct backgrounds and cities was a matter of concern too. Mira had explained in Vogue Wedding Book 2019:
“I really didn’t think about it as so many challenges to overcome. The change from Delhi to Mumbai was actually a very pleasant one. I love South Bombay!"
Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s Jodi has grown stronger with each passing day.
