Shehnaaz Gill Questions Shahid Kapoor Whether He Is Loyal To Wife, Mira Rajput

Shahid Kapoor appeared on Shehnaaz Gill's talk show, where the actor got into a lively argument with Shehnaaz when she questioned him about his loyalty.

Shehnaaz Gill's show, Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill, has gained much popularity in a short time. After hosting celebrities like Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal, and Ayushmann Khurrana, the Bigg Boss season 13 fame actress welcomed Kabir Singh actor, Shahid Kapoor in the latest episode of her show. Shehnaaz asked many things from Shahid, including one, about his loyalty to his wife, Mira Rajput.

Shehnaaz Gill questions Shahid Kapoor's loyalty

While talking about Shahid's latest film, Farzi, the actor stated that every individual in the film is the hero of his own story and the villain of another’s, to which calling Shahid handsome, Shehnaaz replied in her lively style saying Shahid gives a hero vibe and she refuses to accept him as the villain. She further said the Jersey actor had broken many women's hearts by getting married. Shehnaaz then asked in an upfront manner whether he is loyal. This was when their casual conversation turned into a funny boy vs girl argument. Shahid was quick to reply and asked if she had a doubt about it. He further teased her by claiming that women can never be straightforward. Talking about the same Shahid said:

“Na mein matlab sawal tha. Ladkiyan aise hi poochti hain sawal, kabhi seedha sawal nahi poochti.”

After Shahid's reply, Shehnaaz shared that boys aren't loyal; on the other hand, girls are lovely and possessive. When Shahid questioned why she ran behind the boys, Shehnaaz replied funnily that she had no other option. Shehnaaz later questioned Shahid if he was aware of the meaning of Farzi, in the same conversation. He claimed he does, and referred to himself as fake and downright dishonest. The actor joked and said:

“Main pura fake hoon, mere andar koi real cheez hai hi nahi.”

Shehnaaz was quick to counter-question him and asked if he doesn't need his wife, Mira’s permission to do what he desires. The fun argument between the duo ended at last when Shahid laughed it off while saying she was getting him in trouble.

Shahid Kapoor's married life

Shahid Kapoor married his lady love, Mira Rajput, 14 years younger than him, in a private ceremony in Gurgaon on July 7, 2015, in the presence of close friends and family members, followed by a grand reception. Mira hails from a well-to-do business family. After two years of marriage, the duo welcomed their daughter, Misha, in August 2016 and their son, Zain, in September 2018.

Shahid Kapoor Career

Shahid Kapoor started his career as a background dancer before making his film debut in the 2003 rom-com, Ishq Vishk, directed by Ken Ghosh. He later went on to star in the movie, Jab We Met with Kareena Kapoor, for which he received his first Best Actor Filmfare nomination. In 2014, Kapoor received the Filmfare Award for Best Actor for his role in the movie, Haider. He later earned the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of a drug addict rockstar in Udta Punjab. Shahid's film, Kabir Singh turned out to be his biggest commercial hit.
