Shahid Kapoor And His Wife, Mira Rajput Celebrate Diwali With Brother, Ishaan Khatter [See Photos]

Bollywood's stunning couple, Shahid Kapoor and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, has once again stunned everyone with their Diwali look, as they posted pictures with Ishaan Khatter.

The festival of lights, Diwali, is here, and after two years of sadness amidst the coronavirus pandemic, people are enjoying the festive vibes with their families and loved ones. From Twitter to Instagram, the hashtag, '#Diwali2021' has been bombarded with tons of stunning pictures of different cities being lit up with lights and diyas. Bollywood's star couple, Shahid Kapoor and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, are also celebrating Diwali with their son, Zain Kapoor and their daughter, Misha Kapoor.

Before getting into Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor's this year's Diwali celebrations, let's take a short trip to their last year's Diwali celebrations. On November 15, 2020, Mira had taken to her Instagram handle and had dropped the mandatory Diwali picture with her hubby, Shahid. In the picture, Mira and Shahid had looked stunning in their matching black ensembles, as they had struck a lovely pose together. Alongside this lovely Diwali picture, Mira had written, "Grateful for family, small joys and being together. Happy Diwali."

This year, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor celebrated Diwali with the 'perpetual third wheel' of their family, Ishaan Khatter. Taking to his Instagram handle, the Khaali Peeli actor gave a sneak peek into their celebrations as he shared a collage of pictures with his brother, Shahid and loving bhabhi, Mira. Along with it, Ishaan wrote a caption that can be read as:

“Happy Diwali”.

In the pictures, Ishaan can be seen wearing a white and green kurta, and looking stylish as ever. While Mira looked gorgeous in a peach and black coloured kurta, on the other hand, Shahid had ditched the traditional look and donned a white t-shirt teamed with track pants and a jacket. The trio was seen having fun together during the celebration. Meanwhile, Mira also gave a glimpse of Diwali decorations at her place and wrote:

“Happy Diwali. May it brings everyone positivity, good health and laughter with family and loved ones”.

Talking about Shahid Kapoor and his wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor's Diwali in the year 2019, then the doting wife had shared lovely pictures with her hubby on her IG handle. The gorgeous wifey had shared some drool-worthy photos of herself and Shahid, in which the madly in love couple had looked simply out of this world in their respective traditional attires. While on one side, Mira Rajput had donned a Punit Balana green anarkali suit, on the other side, her hubby, Shahid, had looked super handsome in a white kurta-pyjama.

However, it was the Diwali of the year 2018, when the netizens had trolled Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor for the way they had wished them on such an auspicious day. The couple had shared a lip-lock picture that didn't go well with the netizens, and the people had quickly criticised their decision to upload such pictures.

However, the star wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, had not paid any heed to all these trollers and had shown a rather calm attitude. In an interview with the Times Internet, Mira had shared that the internet is the only platform wherein, people can express their point of view. While some may like it, some may not. After all, not everyone is going to like you.
