The famous socialite, Shalini Passi, opened up about marrying young and having a child at the age of 21. She even talked about how to fill the loneliness in life.
Shalini Passi has made her presence felt on the Netflix series Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives. While earlier the show's stars were Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Bhawna Panday, and Seema Khan, Shalini dethroned them with her honest and larger-than-life living. Recently, she talked about her personal life and how marrying young feels.
Recently, Shalini Passi hosted an 'Ask Me Anything' session on Reddit and answered her fans' question. One user asked her about the benefits of marrying young. The user wrote, "Hey,thanks for doing this !How was it being married young" Responding to this, Shalini added that it seems to be living your life in a reverse.
Shalini Passi talked about embracing motherhood at 21 and how her son is working and graduated from college. She added that now she lives the life of a sixteen-year-old with new experiences and a newer journey. She wrote:
"Well, it’s like living your life in reverse. And I had my son at 21. And now he’s working and he’s graduated. And so now I have a life of a 16-year-old. So that’s exactly how I feel."
Another problem with growing old is the empty nest, and mostly it is the mothers, who face the problem of seeing their children go out work. Answering one question on loneliness and how to fill it up, Shalini wrote:
"The best way to cope with loneliness Is to fill it up — by helping others, and taking up many projects, and being occupied. Giving to others, also creates a lot of love in the heart."
Shalini Passi is all about giving interviews and living the life that people could only dream of. She has a loving husband, a handsome son, and now, a blooming Bollywood career that has won her many hearts. In an interview with India Today Digital, Shalini revealed that her wedding card was designed by famous artist, M.F. Hussain.
Shalini revealed that it was her in-laws' family who approached him. While he agreed to paint the wedding day card, M.F. Hussain had a condition: he wanted to see the bride's face, and the moment he saw — he thought that the match was made in heaven as they looked like 'Radha-Krishna'. Shalini was quoted as saying:
"Husain sahab has been very close to my husband's family. My husband's family approached him to make the wedding cards, and he said, 'First, I'll see the girl, and then I'll paint. Then he saw me and said, 'This is a Radha-Krishna jodi,' and he painted a set of four beautiful wedding cards. One was for the Mata Ki Chowki, one was for the sangeet, one for the wedding, and one for the reception."
Shalini revealed that she was just 20 years old when she married Sanjay Passi. A year later, Shalini delivered her first child, Robin. The socialite revealed that she had literally grown up with him. Shalini revealed that it was Sanjay's sisters who approached her while she was attending a friend's wedding.
